Anytime but summer. Nearly impossible to walk even 9 holes because of heat in the summer.
Hell in Louisiana I play in shorts and a polo about half of December. Usually January and February are a bit too cold.

This but Fall, specifically October. This is the month to play. Perfect weather and outside of bow season, no hunting. Downside is football on Saturdays. The next best is Spring because there isn't anything to get in the way other than maybe fishing or turkeys. Probably the best season but Fall has cool fronts trumping Spring.

March and early April before the yahoos realize it’s golf season again is pretty pure.
