Webb or LSU - which course to play

Anyone played either recently? Trying to decide which to play.

LSU all day, LSU is cheaper, has a driving range, and the course conditions are always decent.

Webb was... pretty poor. And that's being nice.

The last time I played Webb was about a decade ago. I got criticized by a Marshall for “slow play” for playing solo behind a 5 some. The two jackasses behind me complained because they waited on me to let the 5 some in front of me clear the green before I hit on the first par 3 on the back nine. I haven’t been back since.

Heard Webb just did some work on 10, the big elevated green. Basically 86ed it and built another right in front that’s all jacked up. There’s no cup, just a hole right now lol

That green had a straight up mud slick for the first 5 yards from the front of the green. About time they work on it.

Played LSU today. Having some issues with busted pipes, so made the course a bit tougher with some of the over grown grass. Actually enjoyed it. The greens are a touch slow (usual) but look good and rolling great.

Which is a shame. It's my favorite course in the area to walk when my main goal is exercise and working on shots, but the greens are at an all-time low right now.
