Didn’t watch much Presidents Cup but caught the singles match this Sunday. Was rooting for Kim due to Mr. Whine’s constant antics.
Bitching that Kim made him putt a 3 footer when Kim was 2 down. Shaking his head when Kim made a winning putt, etc..
Shotgun Start said it best that JT plays the bully and got punched in the mouth. Tries to act like Michael Jordan on the course.

Pretty much common knowledge that once you get down in match play that those 3 footers stop becoming gimmies. It's even good strategy in general to give your opponent some 3 footers for a while and then start making them putt them later on because sometimes they wont be as comfortable over them.
I've won a match with that strategy. Gave him pretty much every three footer he had on the front nine and stopped doing it on the back. He missed two on the back and it cost him.

I like JT, but I've always felt that the group that bitches about not getting a putt conceded always looks bad in the end. The point of the game is to get it in the hole. Approach the match assuming you will have to hole everything and be surprised when something is given to you.

JT is quickly becoming the new Patrick Reed of the PGA tour. Between he and Brandel, I found myself easily pulling for the international guys yesterday. JT is the bully that can't take it when someone hits back. Davis Love is a putz as well.

All that I can say is that my boss and I worked with the HGA when the PGA tournament was at the TPC Woodlands , Davis Love was very generous with his time with the Sunshine kids.

I’ve never been a JT fan.
But I love how much he loves playing for America in these international events.
He definitely ramped up the intensity in that match, and Kim didn’t budge. Kudos to Kim.
