Rather 150 yard ace or eagle 440 yard par 4

I’ve never had an ace, came close times. Thus I’d take the ace. However a 2 on a monster par 4 would be a lot more difficult.
What would you choose?

Hole in one
That being said, I have an albatross on a 500 yard par 5 that is much more impressive to me than my hole in one from 136. Hit driver, 4 hybrid. It came off weird, very low and hot. The green is like a big back stop and it hit just before the green, hopped once, hopped again and landed in the hole. Annnnnnnnnnd of course my 5 year old daughters were the only ones that saw it. Couldn't happen in a tournament for a super skin.

Hole in one because I’ve never had one.
I’ve holed out from the fairway a decent bit on par 4’s and have two albatrosses under my belt (both times on short par 5s where I was able to cut a corner and have a short iron in). But no hole in one.

Hole in one>albatross>eagle on a par 4
Obviously an albatross is the most difficult and least likely but an ace is perfect. 1 is the perfect score. Makes it better than anything else IMO

I’ve eagled plenty par 4s (mainly bc my home course has a few short ones). I’ve eagled longer par 4s with a great second shot.
I would rather a hole in 1 any day.

I have had 2 eagles on the 16th at bayou oaks south. I’d give up both for an Ace on 17..

Ace. Never had one.
No albatross either, which seems to be even harder than an ace.
Have several eagles on par 4's.

Hole in one.
I don't think the "have you eagled a par 4, or double eagled a par 5" question gets brought up that much. It's definitely harder to do, but a HIO clearly means more to most people.
HIO on a par 4 would be the ideal but impractical answer.

I think the easiest hole to albatross would have to be #10 at Koasati. Smoked a drive down the middle and had 8 iron into the green, hit and checked up and missed going in by an inch or two. Tap-in eagle.

Having plenty of par 4 eagles and only one Ace...
Hole in one easily.

LOL good luck. I don't think they've ever moved the pin from back right on that hole

I had one Ace and it cost me $150.00 bucks in the clubhouse afterwards lol
Had one double eagle at Thrash park.

I’ve hit the flag or been working 1’ 5 times on Par 4s. I HIO on a par 4 would be awesome

Ace by far
I made a Double Eagle before making an ace and the ace felt better

I’ve done the latter. Give me the ace.

On two occasions I came close to an Ace on a Par 4.
One was right outside Orange Beach on one of the Robert Trent Jones courses. We were playing a 375 yard hole with a severe dog leg right where are you couldn’t see the green from the tee as there was essentially a forest in between. in a straight line, it was probably more like 310 to 320 yards. It was in a scramble and one of our guys had placed the ball right down the middle where we had about another 150 into the hole. I was driving last and decided to try to hit a slice over the trees to get it closer to the hole.
One of the guys I was playing with was very familiar with the course and thought for sure I had put the ball in the trees. I thought I cleared the trees, but I didn’t know by how much. One more thing, there was a huge sand trap in front of the green.
When we got in the cart my playing partner was sure that we should look in the trees. When we made the turn around the trees, we saw the foursome in front of us all standing on the edge of the green looking towards us. As we got closer, one of them asked if one of us was playing with a Wilson titanium golf ball. I told him I was.
They explained that the ball had just cleared the sand trap, bounced up around 10 feet in the air, rolled down towards the hole, and took a peek inside the cup before rolling just off the green. We had about a 12 foot putt coming back for eagle and one of my playing partners made it. The foursome on front had no idea where the ball head come from, but they thought it was going to roll right into the cup.
On another occasion, I was playing in another scramble at Bayou Barriere in Belle Chase. I forget the hole, but it was about 315 yards, with a very slight dog leg left. The hole was protected by bunkers with just a slight gap in between the bunkers. I managed to hit a nice little draw that hit in front of the bunkers but went right in between the gap. We yelled four and the group in front of us started cheering for it to go in. When we got up to the green, the foursome ahead said it missed by about 2 or 3 inches. The ball wound up about 10 to 15 feet from the cup and we all missed the eagle putt coming back.
