I don't know. Now they got their wives involved. They will have to solve it by themselves now.

Sounds like a upside down pineapple situation went sideways..

Mostly ball busting that's got out of hand.

I use these in reply to any critics:

1. “IF I was a better player, I’d shoot better scores.”
2. “Other than distance and direction, that was a solid shot.”

This similar thing has happened to my dad recently.

What happens to men when they get over 60 and retire? Y’all turn into high school girls all of a sudden?

There’s always a least favorite/most annoying in every group. I kept telling my dad, if y’all always push out the least favorite, y’all will be 8 grown men out playing as singles.

I had a group of old timers (mid to late 60s) in front of me last week. They were yelling at the group ahead of them the whole back nine. Then the two groups were yelling back and forth in the parking lot.

The group ahead of them was playing slow. But the old guys were just acting like jackasses. I expect better from somebody with that much age.

Golf used to be a gentlemen's game.

This is why I like to play by myself. I need golf to get away from the worlds BS... not be surrounded by it.

Good luck, Bop.

Most just get really set in their ways and refuse to comprimise.

Has this happened to any of you ?
I run the Wednesday group at Capital Hill. Just before I took it over we had a big split, half went with another group because they didn’t like the format.

Shamble stableford isn’t good for guys with problems getting off the tee and short game isn’t great. They like playing scramble because none of them are probably better than a 10-12 hcp.

I rotate between shamble, scramble and play your own ball. Some still bitch when they think the teams are unfair even then
