Our foursome blew up

For context the three of us having been playing together for over 20 years.
We are all in our senior years.
Our 4th is a great guy who has played with us over a year is a very pleasant guy.
My other two guys for some reason have been nitpicking each other for months and it finally blew up and got heated. I tried my best to diffuse the situation but it's bad and it may be unrepairable since they refuse to talk to each other now.
I'm like what the heck and our 4th guy is like now I don't need this.
So now, I don't have anyone to play with next week because I am not taking sides.
Grown men acting like this is so stupid.
If anyone knows any Senior groups in Sugarland area, I may join up.
Has this happened to any of you ?

Agree it’s stupid. Middle aged men can behave like middle school girls when it comes to athletics, whether it be on the golf course or with their kids peewee football team.

Similar stuff happened to my regular group.
We played a twosome yesterday and laughed because we are always saying SHRINK THE GAME. We didnt mean within our own group!

Let it be for a bit then try to get the group back together. Time heals.
My in laws live in Sugarland and I visit for a few days every summer. If you still need someone to fill the group, I’d join for a round or two.

Human beings are human beings.
We had an insufferable know it all that a few guys just refused to play with at all.
Then one day, he kept telling us “you can’t stand there”, “don’t breathe”, and just angry at everyone. He stormed of 9 to first tee where he bullied trough another guy in my group(who had refused to play with him at all) and played through them.
I ended his association with us due to incompatibility.
I don’t hate the man, but it got to where I had to play with him everytime bc so many would just make another time IF he was on tee sheet.
I ended up blowing up the 12 man group just bc I tried of “I can’t play with so and so”; “I. Need to be I first group”;
I now am part of a Wednesday and Friday low key dogfight, I usually on Tuedays do a forward tee scramble with a group including an 86 year old guy who had quit playing bc of diminished skills(he loves it!), I try to play with juniors or friends on Thursday.
There is a Saturday 4 ball with the same 4. We all are IN about 3x per month.

Time to remind people that we’re all out here for fun.

But one guy's always says why did you use that club if the other hits a bad shot.
