Hate y'all. Wife has agreed to Streamsong and Bandon. May hit Pinehurst in late June with a friend, but that's up in the air

Valhalla outside of Louisville. Up there for a baseball tourney a few weeks after the Derby. AD knew someone with a hookup to get us on for a round.

Iirc, Floyd played professionally. I'd buy that his list is 100% real.

Yes, volunteers DO get the opportunity to play Augusta. My golf buddy works there and the volunteers come back sometime in June.
YES it happens.

BTW ... Bandon is the bomb. Played all 5 courses. Pac is my favorite. Trails 2, Dunes 3, Sheep Ranch 4, OM is 5th.

You get to go back and play the course the day before they close for the summer if you're a volunteer. Getting to be a volunteer is extremely difficult, as it essentially just gets passed down.

Whistling Straits for me. Went up there for LSU/Wisky in 2016. Played Straits and Blackwolf Run. Something awesome about playing a course that you have seen on TV.

Going to Bandon in August with my pops. We are playing all 5 courses. I cannot wait for that trip!

I was golf director at a resort in W. Virginia and the course was designed by George Cobb (who also designed Quail Hollow and a lot of others in Georgia and the Carolinas). Mr. Cobb was the consulting Architect for Augusta at the time, 1977, and his son worked with me. He arranged for the 2 of us and 1 other guy to play it. Played right behind Gene Sarazen.

Bali National.

Have any of you ever been? I highly recommend it.

Red Mountain Phuket was also VERY memorable.

And if there was only the option to play one course the rest of my life.... Rainbow Hills. Don’t go there tho.
