Most memorable course(s) you've played

Bandon Dunes (Pacific Dunes) for me. Pacific Dunes put me through the ringer with the wind. I'm going back this August. I'm also playing Old MacDonald this trip. I don't think it was built on my last trip.

Payne’s valley for me. Not that it’s top 100 course or anything Just a great trip and most elevation I’ve played in so far.

Alpine, I’ve been to Bandon 5-6 times. What courses are you playing? Old McDonald is probably the one that is ranked lowest there, the last few times I didn’t even play it as I’d rather play others twice than play Old Mac - to eaches own.
If you aren’t playing Bandon Trails please make sure you do. Many people pass on it due to the lack of holes on the water but it’s probably my 2nd favorite course at the resort behind Bandon Dunes.
The Sheepranch is the newest course that opened up last spring. I played it in July and it was the most holes along the coast but it’s a bit quirky as they tried to jam a number of greens and tee boxes in a small area.

Ballyneal and Arcadia Bluffs for the natural and scenic views, Butler National and Calusa Pines for how they humiliate you as a golfer when you think you are a decent player yet the conditions are impeccable.

I believe the No Laying Up guys recommended Old Mac, which is why I booked it. Anyway, thanks again.

I will just counter that I love old mac. Play all the courses and form your own opinion. I live Trails too. Bandon Dunes is actually my least favorite.

Whistling straits. Think I hit 1 fairway and I paid for it but it was fun as hell. Worst part was that I hit all but 1 fairway at Blackwolf Run the next day. Can’t beat the views tho

Ocean Course at Kiawah...hardest round of golf I've ever played. Felt exhausted after 18 holes.

Augusta National and Cypress Point. Bucket list is Royal County Down, then Bandon (any course).

A few in Hawaii, a couple in Cabo, Palm Springs area, a grand bear course by Jack in Canada, Ireland castle course, St. Louis course in lake St. Louis, I’m sorry I have the golf course books saved but I don’t feel like getting up. Ha.

Augusta National, Oak Hill, Oakland Hills, Kiawah Island, Old Course, Royal County Down, Peachtree Golf Club, The Honors Course, Secession, Pinehurst #2.
Bucket list includes Pine Valley, Seminole, and Shinnecock Hills.
