We equipment and a new hire or two that actually know and care about what they are doing. Green 2 is in bad shape and 6 actually looks pretty good. Still some low/ bare spots but the grass is thickening up and the poa and weeds are pretty much gone.

Just need overnight temps to stay above 70*.

A few tee boxes got hit by mole crickets but a much different course than 6 weeks ago.

Again, more of a value/convenience but improving.

Moneyhill is 30 minutes from Mandeville depending on where he lives. There are some houses for sale out here! Just move out here. I’m a 2 minute golf cart ride to the first tee box. Couldn’t imagine it any other way.

5-7 mins from my office and 5-7 mins from my home. Very convenient. I use my club for more than golf also.

I wouldn’t drive from Mandeville to Slidell to play regularly. Why not Beau Chene?

About 20-25 minutes from Oakbourne in Lafayette. I live on the south side of town near Comeaux high school and OCC is north side by the airport. It’s in a pretty bad part of town so not a lot of members live close to it.

It kind of sucks because it’s not really close enough to just pop over for a quick 9 or practice. You have to make a day out of it.

I love Oak Harbor but Carter in Springfield is a way better facility and about the same distance away.

Is that semi-private? Nice looking spot.

5 minute by golf cart to the range and club house. It does make a difference as to being able run over after work during nice times of the year and also dodging thunderstorms and still be able to play and make it home for dinner/pre dinner. Also the ability to just go and hang is nice.

If you are willing to drive to Oak Harbor, like others have said I would at least price out Carter and Diamondhead which are much better courses (Diamondhead has 36 holes)

All public. Its state run since the entire island is a state park.

When you're green is protected by water and two bunkers you don't need to make the hole 180+ from the whites.

#5 They keep moving that teebox from 150-185 last few times I've played. Most frustrating parts is the tee box is always extremely chewed up

It's not just that it's tough but it just adds to what is already a horrible pace of play.

There's a few things they can do....If you keep the tee boxes back on 5 add a drop area in front of the red tees. The white tee boxes on 8 need to go up like literally, 100 yards - that hole is just stupid for a course like that.

No doubt...alot of their tee boxes are horrible - sloped, no grass or both.
