You will see a big turn out in the north half of the state for the Mid-Am at Squire. Not 93 in a qualifier big, but a good showing.

Yea, I'm not trying to qualify for this thing if it is at Stonebridge.

Being from BR, I don't need a hotel, I don't have to spend 4 days (read two, there is no way if I even qualify I make it to the weekend) away from family, and I can still work half days on the Thursday and Friday depending on tee times.

I imagine it is always like that, to some extent. If the actual AM or MidAm is in the South, the South participates at a high percentage, and vice versa.

6 just seemed really small...

Sounds like my round. 31 putts but broke 80. Honestly, I didn’t have a goal. That was my first LGA stroke play tournament.

82 may have to go a playoff. Scores aren’t low. Rain slowed everything down.

Do they do scorecard or sudden death playoff? Also, how many of the ~90 advance to BRCC?

Not sure about the first question but I think it’s 40 out of the 93 who signed up.

I'm trying to decide on the mid-Am if I want to qualify down at Lakewood, which I'm more familiar with...or be lazy and qualify at Greystone.

My first thought was "how the hell do you break 80 with 40 putts".. then I went back and counted mine--- 39 putts and I broke 80.

I left every put 7-8 feet short. The greens were slow and the rain didn't help any. Just hard to make yourself hit it that hard.

I think 81 was the cut line.

Here’s what I got before I left:

Scores should be posted here eventually.
