disappears in big events. Keegan and Glover deserved it.

Someone else disappears in big events so Keegan deserved it with his T23, T29, MC, MC at the majors this year?

The only people that deserved it are the people who auto qualified. Lucas Glover even with playing well in early August wasnt in the top 12. JT didn’t deserve to be picked either. But if you want to get picked, #playbetter

Keegan was also 12th in points. It’s not like they’re leaving him off the team after finishing 7th.

Nah. You can criticize them. I can. Talking heads can. I just think it looks bad for a guy to essentially complain that HE didn’t get picked. If he’d just have left that part out I’d have no issue at all.

How is that crying about it? I mean he's right.

I agree he’s not crying about it, but he was number 12 on the list, Cam Young was #9. If Cam Young was on the team over Keegan I don’t think people would really have an issue.

Again, I get it’s JT. And he might end up being horrendous. But I guess I just don’t feel like Keegan is this huge snub who put together some amazing year.

Here's the thing though. Todd Lewis asked him for comment. I think what he said was better than "No comment" or anything else he could say. It's not like he called a press conference or tweeted this out.

I mean it’s not terrible.

My takeaway, though, is that HE should be on the team.
Had he said something more generic I’d be 100% behind him.
“ I think there’s guys out here that maybe are more deserving than some who were picked”
“ Not sure what Zach was thinking “
Or even
“Looks like zach picked his buddies “

All are pointed criticisms and I’d be great w any of that. Even his disappointment personally.

It’s when he pouted, and made the reference that he’d never be a pick cuz nobody likes him. Seems a bit much.

It’s like the high school sports dad who points out all the problems on the team, then holds up HIS kid as the answer to the issues.

One of the issues with Keegan on the team is that his traditional playing partner, Phil Mickelson, is also not there. How guys mesh with other guys plays a role in this, and by his own admission, Keegan has always been a sort of tour outsider. If Phil were around, Keegan would probably have made the team.

Keegan loves to smell his own shite. This guy is such a chode. He fricking blows, Glover should've been selected over that burn unit looking frick, JT.

Keegan has three top 10s in 2023.

Can we stop pretending like he’s been this guy who has consistently been great on Tour this year?

Obviously there’s the JT pick that I can understand why people disagree with it. But he has an absurdly good team record. That’s why he was chosen.

Outside of him I’m not really sure who Keegan should have been in over.

He had 2 wins, a 2nd place, 6 top 10’s, and 10 top 25’s this season

Don’t downplay his stats if you’re gonna argue that he didn’t do enough to warrant a pick

Top 6 are auto picks.

Captain picks the rest.

Did ZJ outline his criteria?

I believe that the Europeans use a point system that accrues over the season. It keeps the Captain from good ole boy picks. Thomas was a very vocal anti-LIV advocate. His selection is undoubtedly a reward, and certainly not based on merits.

Well Donald is in a bind....Aberg won today so he's now going to have to choose someone that's played 7 professional tournaments this year....Aberg VS JT on Sunday..watch JT melt

Aberg was going to be a captains pick without the win
