Anytime you try to play the moral police on any topic, you kind of have to make sure your own ducks are in a row. Rory cheating on his wife and daughter with a Golf reporter is an all time low move. It's much worse that Bryson being "performative" or accidentally improving a lie in 6 feet tall grass. Rory could have taken the high road, but he didn't and now it's up to the court of public opinion if a serial cheater gets to play moral police in a golf press conference.

This isn't even the tip of the ice burg of reasons why Bryson is a performative crazy man.
Off the top of my head:
Asked for a free drop because of a couple of ants
Lost a fight with a rope and put on a dramatic broadway performance
Aggressively confronted a camera man for showing his poor play
Rudely told an old volunteer "you can move now" .5 seconds after finding his ball
Has always treated rules officials like they're subhuman
Ordered any spectators who shouted "Brooksie" to be thrown out
Can't decide if he'd rather play pro golf, or become a full-time YouTuber
Augusta is a par 67 for him
Used an actual compass at the 2018 Travelers
Had another dramatic mental breakdown on the range at the 2018 Open
Hired a PR firm to help improve his image

To be clear. I've been "in" and "out" on Bryson several times over the past decade. I've never been more out than I am now. The guy is just a phony. He doesn't know how to be a person.
It's a shame he gained so much favor after Pinehurst from the casual, post-covid crowd.

Not a Bryson fan, but Rory is the biggest pussy, whiny, absolute prick in the game. Felt this way before yesterday though, hate the way the PGA and their minions feel the need to prop him up as the face, he’s clearly no Tiger as much as they want him to be

Yeah, that is why he suddenly filed for divorce from his wife and then suddenly said “never mind’. Balionis stopped wearing a wedding ring and suddenly got divorced. The awkward and inappropriate hugs and flirting with them. The “matching” outfits they coordinated. The confirmed “pizza” pickup where he was getting her order at a restaurant.
Don’t forget McPuffin sent out wedding invitations for his marriage to Caroline Wozniacki and then canceled the wedding on her abruptly.
