I've got 3, one at 8 years old hit a driver one a 145 yard par 3. one in a HS tourney, and one two weeks ago at Ross Bridge in a scramble tournament.

I had a par a few years ago after I fatted the first shot in water, flew the second one right into the cup.

1, got it at the State Golf Tournament at Copper Mill

7 iron, 178 Yards, pure straight strike. 1 hop about 10 feet short of the hole and rolled right in at putter pace. 40-50 witnesses. I did not come close to winning the tournament, but I had 4 other birdies that day, so it was a fun day of golf.

Wilson Fat Shaft Irons. Next season I moved into the MP32’s and I have not had a hole in one sense, despite those being great irons.

I still have the flag from the hole in my childhood room, along with the ball (Bridgestone B330) and scorecard.

I have 2. My first one was a crazy round. Had 10 pars in a row, get up on 11 and dunk it for an ace. Proceed to shot 30 on the back for my lowest round ever, 66.

I have one and got it last year. 142 yards front pin over a bunker with a 9 iron. Bc of the bunker lip and front pin, didn’t even get to see it drop. I knew it had a chance so the walk up to the green was a little anxious. Couldn’t even see the hole until you got all the way up on the to green.

I bet I could not carry that old 7 iron 125 right now.

I resemble that remark...

zero hole in ones in over 40 years of playing...plenty close but no cigar...

but I love the game...

1 in almost 30 yrs of playing. 2 others, that stopped on the lip of the cup. HOWEVER, my former football/wrestling coach just recorded his 16th ace on a single hole, at age 82. He has multiple aces on other holes as well. Coach plays golf most days of the week, and only started using a cart within the last decade.

One. Number 8 at Fallen Oak, on the fly. Still not sure how it did not bounce out or scar the green around the cup. Playing with two strangers (fortunately, so I had witnesses). They got free drinks and I got a good memory (only shot I remember about that round). Never really been close to another one.

I have 1. Got it a couple of years ago at Bryan Park Champs in Greensboro. Been playing 30 years pretty much.

Only needed one hole in one for my bucketlist.

My kid,18-year-old Senior on the high school team hit his second hole in 1 on Wednesday at the local high school tournament in Shreveport, Dad Bragg, he won the tournament with a score of -2. He's only been playing since the summer between his freshman and sophomore year. He hit his first one after only playing 3 months.

Very similar story. I'm 25 years in and have a grand total of none. My then high school junior son takes up golf, makes the golf team and 6 months later made his first HIO with three witnesses. He's now a college freshman and shoots in the 70's. I hate him.

Kidding of course

Kind of.

I was anywhere from scratch to a 2 or 3 for 15 years. I can still shoot low 70s at 50.

I have zero hole in ones.

Have one, happened 4 months ago; 25 years of playing as a single digit handicap.
More impressive is I made an albatross 2 years ago.

Playing over 30 years, came withing a foot 3 times, including last Thursday, but never had a hole in one. I've only seen 1 hole in one. Funny thing, I've holed out from the fairway numerous times and I've had a double eagle.
Go figure

I didn’t start playing golf until later in life. Began 17 years ago (with a two-year interruption for cancer surgeries) and have logged 486 rounds. Never seen an ace by another player in person.

I have one. May 2024 at Blue Mash Golf Club in Maryland. Cold and rainy morning. No. 11, 170 yards over water and into the wind. Hit a hard 6 iron and it landed ~15 feet from pin and gently rolled in the cup.

Was prepared to spend a fortune in the grille after we finished. Alas, the weather was so bad (and getting worse as the morning wore on) we were the only group inside eating lunch. Nice lunch, wildly overtipped the waitress and bartender, drove home and took a nap. Box was checked, though.

0. I've had multiple either hit the pin or stop within 6", but nothing has ever fallen. I've eagled from 150 which is cool, but never an ace.
