Opposite of the other thread...what's your favorite club to hit.

Driver for me. Had a great run the past few years with the Titleist 910, and then the 915 drivers. Could work the ball L to R, or R to L at will and was long with both. Put the M5 in the bag this year and have never looked back. Gained 10-15 yards of distance and can still move the ball as needed.

Love my putter. It’s not always my best club. But when it’s going, we are best friends.

My answer would have been different a week ago. But, I put a TaylorMade M3 (HZRDUS Black stiff shaft) in my bag and the difference between that and my previous driver is night and day. Set the weights to high fade and I've finally all but eliminated the left side of the course. I've hit places on the fairway that I've never come close to reaching on several holes over the 3 rounds (on 3 different courses) I played last week and weekend. I was pulling driver on holes I really have no business hitting driver on, but I was confident I could hit the ball exactly where I wanted and did just that.

Couldn't buy a putt last week though...

Changes day to day.

Today, I was ready to sell the set.

Yesterday, I hit the driver very well.

I like my Vokey wedges, but I miss a bunch of greens so I use them a good bit.

I like my 8 iron as well.

I hear ya on the driver and putting, I was always a Titleist guy in the past; but found a M5 for a deal I couldn't turn down. Played in our club championship last weekend and shot +1 on the first day, and +7 day two. Carded a +4 on a par 5 that did me in, but could have easily gotten back in it. Had 15' or less birdie putts on 8 or the 9 holes on the back and only made 1.

8I. If Im 150 out I can drop it on a dime with a nice easy swing. If only I could hit the rest with such confidence

I'm also coming from an 11 year old driver (Cobra L4V-X), so the newer technology is really showing up for me. I hit that Cobra well for the most part, but my misses were low left or high right. With this new driver and setup, I've all but eliminated the left side, so I can aim down that side of the fairway and let it rip. I can think of at least a dozen holes over the 3 courses I played where I hit my second shot from a place I've never been before. Now I need to practice my less than full wedge shots, because that's where I ultimately lost strokes (not getting it close enough to have a real chance at the putt).

Still managed rounds of 76-76-84 (that 84 should have been a 78 or better, the flatstick really took the day off then).

I enjoy hitting my 56 degree 3/4 the most, that's the most fun shot in my bag.

9 iron and my GBB Epic are close behind.
