That will be putting green and a bunker practice area. Also looks like theyre digging up some areas on the south course to create practice greens.

A golf tournament in SE Louisiana in late June. Sounds like a blast.

This is really the only thing I can think about. Going to be miserably hot. Im sure they will have plenty of accommodations for fans and players but its going to be scorching.

They're adding 5 new tee boxes. Should play 7500+ when all said and done.

I like the target greens. Been going to Joseph Bartholomew to hit balls while city park is down.

Is it chewed up yet? Wasn't the best to begin with. As Bayou Oaks is closed I would imagine Joe Bart getting a lot more traffic than usual.

I know ratings are ratings, but city park is so open and FLAT. there isn’t a bad lie to be had and the greens have zero teeth at all. With this little time remaining I don’t see what can’t be done to protect 59 at CP for pros

It’s a disaster on LIVs part to come to NOLA and think some cheap flat muni course that squeezed some wasted FEMA funds can host a pro golf event.

The Zurich had to resort to that team format gimmick to attract any top players as a vacation low pressure tour event during the grind.

The TV ratings are abysmal for the event by tour standards and the tournament needs to move to a better city with better golf to justify the deep investment by Zurich.

This LIV thing is just a joke and going to flop miserably.

It seems to me that expectations are so universally negative for this thing; ive actually come around to it thinking it may pleasantly suprise.

Yeah I’m not a LIV guy, but I’m going for the party. Hopefully they get some decent bands playing. And it’s always cool to see where the pros hit it on courses you’ve played 100 times.

Not a ton of grass but you can find a descent spot. They move the hitting area fairly regularly. Played the course the other day.

Bayou Oaks might be the worst golf course to host a professional golf tournament ever. Its boring, flat, and is void of any memorable holes.

I believe this is just a start if Liv is successful, they will do more renovations for the next year and probably start hosting some more regional tournaments may be a senior tour or LPGA event

I actually find the south course to be quite fun. It’s not worth $90 but it’s good for a course around here imo

I love the south course. I typically find people who really hate it play it from the wrong tee box. I can see where it’s really boring from the whites and forward tees.

But from the blue and black tees it’s an enjoyable public course. LIV is going to play it pretty long I’m sure.
