I can’t find most of the posts in the original form so maybe the took them down.

But what the frick is Grant Horvat and Primo golf doing? Who would possibly like this? Talk about step one for ruining your brand right here for Grant

I don’t get Grant’s appeal other than he seems like a nice guy for the most part. He is incredibly boring to watch IMO.

He definitely gets the most high end guests of all the YouTube guys that certainly helps. Of course Phil Mickelson was a big part of that so we will see what happens now…

Agreed; how long can the YouTube folder bubble last?
Can’t be too much longer.

If that dude has ever actually been laid, zero chance it’s ever been anything besides lights off, missionary.

I actually looked at how these guys make their money. The YouTube revenue is only a fraction of what some of them make. The merchandise and sponsorship money is where the real money lies.

Good Good did 40 million in apparel sales last year. Their guys are absolutely swimming in cash, but the way they’re spending it doesn’t make me optimistic most of them won’t be dead broke in 10 years.

I figure this fad has at least 5 years left in it, maybe more depending on how social media evolves.

Found them all, are they trying to be cringe? Is that the point?

Also yes the GoodGood brand is huge, they make a ton of money on merchandise, how many kids do you see running around in Good Good hats on a course? In Dallas it is a ton of they also sponsor athletes, did the new Big Break and are sponsoring a PGA tournament.

What’s great for the original guys (Garrett, Matt, Steve, Bubbie), is they all own a stake in the company.

I bought some of their hoodies on sale a year or so ago. This ad campaign sucks but those things are VERY comfortable

I saw Grant Horvat did a whole video on his Yellowfin. The Yellowfin team delivered it to him, etc.. My immediate thought was how good of a deal did he get on the nearly $500k boat. I know he's apparently invested in not only Primo, but Takomo as well. Along with his Youtube and ad revenue. So, I'm sure he's making a ton. But on top of that, just how much can he leverage for things like that?

YouTube has grown year over year for over 25 years and has accelerated growth since covid.

If you think its a bubble I think you are mistaken. Its the most consumed form of media in the world.

Horvat also owns a stake of Phil Mickelsons For Wellness gummy company. Although that’s probably not as lucrative now as it was a few months ago

My guess, cost minus 50%. Either that or free use of one but company still owns it

Only time I really watched him was when he was still in GG. When he went on his own I realized that his fake enthusiasm nauseated me.
