I’ve gone backwards myself. I was in the mid 80s moving in the right direction with an 81 3 rounds ago. Now I’ve developed a nasty pull hook and have posted 93 and 90 in my last 2 rounds.
The 90 came at Kelly Plantation on vacation this past week. Fought the damn pull hook all day long.

Lol that's the best those greens have ever looked. But they won't cut them and they're always slow. They have like 5 different scrambles out there every week. It's a fun little narrow course

Good for you. I’ve been itching to pull that trigger

88 at Tamahka Trails, with a hole out par on 18. Tough conditions. Greens are beautiful but slower than they look. Bunkers shite obviously. I suck again. 0 birdies, a trip and 5 doubles.

73 (38-35) at Pelican Point Lakes yesterday. Greens are in outstanding shape. 4 bogeys, 1 birdie and 13 pars. Started bogey-bogey, but then played the last 16 in +1. Rounds like that keep me coming back.

dont do that, I quit for a year and a half out of frustration and I regretted it.
Go back to the basics, starting with aim and alignment.

Career low.
37-36 73. Falcon's Fire Golf Club Orlando, FL.
Excited about how I struck the ball. Only 3 or 4 really poor shots. 1 OB and 1 3-putt.
LSU Alumni Scholarship Tournament
Saturday the 8th.
Celebration Golf Club
Geaux Tigers.

80 and 77 at Le Triomphe this weekend. I hadn't played in a couple weeks and got off to a horrendous start on the 80, ended up going 44/36

Had my career low of 72 at Santa Maria last week and then followed it up with an 83 at Fallen Oak yesterday. Place is immaculate

86 at Oak Wing. Course was in ok shape. Brought my 12 year old son play 18 for the first time. I’ve never made a hole in one, but came so close today. 5 iron from 173 hit the pin and stopped within 2 feet. Man,just to experience that with my son,was awesome.

37/36 at The Bluffs today. 3 birdies and an eagle on the last. The bunkers are absolutely terrible. Play them as GUR. Some tees are good some are bad. Fairways are generally hard and tight but that doesn’t bother me. Green are a little above average.
Enjoyed the round overall. It’s nowhere near where it used to be but it’s playable again which is nice.

37 front 9 Santa Maria. I hate the 4th hole it needs to be bulldozed. I gotta stop playing there in the late afternoon. I lose at least 3 balls a round (that are in play) hitting directly into the sun.

42/45 for an 87 yesterday at Lakewood in New Orleans. First time playing the course. It was wet and sloppy, but still didn't stop me from having a good time. It was cool just to stop and think about Nicklaus, Player, and Seve all playing the course years ago.
I FINALLY managed a good round in league play. No major blow up holes on the round. Three doubles and the rest were par/bogey

Smooth 82 with 2 doubles at Fallen Oak and a shitty iron game

Played Greystone in Denham Springs yesterday.
Fairways are very dry but not bare. Greens are dry but in good shape. They are pretty fast but rolling true.
Shot 88 but should have shot 80-82. Three bad holes with bad decisions...
Best shot/hole. 181 yd par 3 on back nine. 4 hybrid to 6', dropped the putt.

Course is drying out really fast in this heat. I know they are watering a ton in the early mornings still trying to get the grass growing fast. Greens are getting better finally. The practice green is back to normal. Most of the front is okay. The back is about 50/50. They have the LGA Net Am there this weekend so they’ve been working hard.

The greens and the areas around the greens were in pretty decent shape. The fairways were still playable but getting hard and burnt. The rough is alive and well!

Good to hear the greens are finally coming back. It's a fun course
