******SPOILERS for Far Cry 5 ending******
quote:
One day after the next Far Cry game was teased, its title and cover art appears to have been leaked online. Ubisoft’s next entry in the franchise may be titled Far Cry: New Dawn. Images portray two women torturing a man tied to a ruined car.
This leaked cover art, which has not been authenticated, further solidifies the theory that the game is a direct sequel to Far Cry 5, which was released earlier this year. The man on the cover is clearly dressed like Joseph Seed, also known as The Father, a leader of a religious cult in a fictional version of Montana. The green church steeple has featured prominently in the marketing for both games. One potential ending of Far Cry 5 also featured the detonation of a nuclear device, which happens to be the inciting event for the next game.
The cover art also shows the sawblade crossbow device featured in the game’s teaser. The two women in the foreground (and a third character in the background) appear to be wearing motorcyle gear and wield makeshift weapons.
The supposed cover art first surfaced on Reddit and later appeared on Twitter, posted by one Wario64. More information on the new Far Cry is expected this evening during the livestream of The Game Awards 2018.

Things sure look colorful in post apocalyptic Montana.
Do I need to be outraged at female protagonists?

After playing in foreign countries in 3 and 4, the idea of a more local Far Cry seems appealing to me. I'm in the middle of playing through Origins, and I'm tempted to jump on this right afterwards. For some reason, taking down religious cults, either in games or movie/television, seems appealing and fun.

I didnt even finish 5. Each zone is a copy/pasts. The boss fights are different, but the build up and post-boss escape are all the same.
I realize its too much to ask for variety and a deep story in todays games.

We know you love the cover
I love the reaction it will get.
I'm assuming those are twins and the main antognists for this game, but who knows. The color scheme, which I'm assuming is a clan thing, makes it seem really similar to Rage 2. So not sure how interested in this I am now. Post apocolyptic is getting saturated.

What I heard about it, but running around in a Far Cry world just doing anything has always appealed to me.
4 was so good. My only issue was how much shite was on that map. I could probably put another 30 hours or so into it just completing the extra stuff I never touched.

I hope you understand this is nothing like the BFV issues. Farcry has never tried to be realistic.
Or is the issue that a white man is being held captive by black females?

Realism argument was a cop out, and I still maintain that.

Okay. Lets wait on the uproar for this.

What if after the ending of FC5, with the country and world in likely ruins, this sect of women takes over a region and sets the place for FC6. I think this could be interesting if they just throw the female sect into the same crazy as religious fanaticism
I was really worried that FC5 was gonna have too much social commentary but it was actually not so bad, so hopefully they won’t screw the pooch
