I can't even remember the leaks for the 360 or PS3. It seems like there was more official press before launch, considering we have had zero official shite less than a year from launch for this.

Won't have to wait much longer for official news from Sony. Next Wednesday is when they are supposed to be having their announcement/presser.

just talking about this with some guys at work. This always online shite leaves the options for people hacking endless. They will be streaming random people walking around naked and shite and broadcast it on the web.

I'm sure they will include an option to turn off the camera.
That being said, I probably won't buy either. I presently own a P3, a 360, and a Wii. I really can't imagine the games getting so much better that I can't live without the next gen.
Neither can I see them no longer supporting the 360, at least not for a long time, and that's primarily what I play on.

It will get decent support for a year after the next gen release then it well lessen. Other than when the Wii came out I have always given new consoles about a year before I upgrade.

I bought a PS3 on release date. Never again, the prices drop way too fast to pay that kind of money just to have it the first day out, and honestly I don't think the jump from 3 to 4 or 360 to 720 is going to be as large. How good can games get?

While the jump in graphics won't be as large, the jump in gameplay due to more dedicated processing power for things like game physics, network processing, AI, etc. will make a large leap.

Yet still, none of any of these rumors have been verified, confirmed with Microsoft/Sony, nor has any Game Developer in the market, besides Ubisoft, recieved any details from Microsoft/Sony. Gaming Board. Stupid is as stupid does. It's early February, release dates aren't til end of 2013 or early 2014. I guess everyone here has some insider source at Microsoft or Sony, weird.
