I had this mindset when the PS3 launched, but not this time around.
I need BF4 on the PS4. that's going to be my main game so I don't really care if the next gen game library will be small in the beginning.

The next new game I purchase will be on a next gen console. Still have several 360 games I plan on playing before then but I'll get them used.

Doesn't make any sense. PS4/Xbone aren't backwards compatible, and nothing has been said about releasing it on next-gen consoles.

I don't. It is pure speculation based on the past history of some late games getting rereleased on the new system as as well. These are often big named games to push the new system.
Obviously just a basic port may not be enough to get people to wait or even buy both.
However, it makes sense to me for them to have a big release sequel of an established franchise.
It has been 5 years since the last GTA. So it seems silly to not open it up on the new console too.
However, I understand why they are not only releasing it on the new consoles. Sales would likely suffer as many will wait awhile for the new consoles.

PS4 is backwards compatable with the PS3, so you will be able to play the game fine on the PS4. XBox One on the other hand isn't with the 360.

Nothing concrete has come out on streaming ps1/2/3 games on Gaikai. Even so, we have no idea what games will be offered through the service.

Sony intends to ameliorate this drawback by allowing users to stream older Playstation titles, although the infrastructure required for such a task is likely a few years away.
