I don't understand. Please rationalize it for me. I don't even like Nintendo or the Wii, but I don't hate them either. If it had more brown, grey, and roided up bald space marines, would you like it more?

i dont hate it but if you want to compare consoles then it would make more of an argument for the " nintendo is grown up too" crowd if you mentioned Assasins Creed Wii or some other grown up game.
The console has the kiddie tag. Prove me wrong. I just went through 5 pgs of Wii games and have yet to find an adult title that isnt WWE or Sports. Tell me where I should start....

I dont want to grow up

Pg 7 is a GEM

Not every Nintendo franchise has a "cartoonish" visuals.

Where did you get the impression that they are all single player games, have you never played a Nintendo game with someone else?

How is gamestyle = Originate from a 1980's platform? WHat does this have to do with anything.

If you don't like Nintendo, that's fine but making things up and using terms out of context just to hate on it more is a bit silly.

There are literally 8 games that I could see playing on the Wii U without losing my man card or my lunch. Almost all of them play better on a PS3or Xbox and only 2 of them are unique Zombie U( looks cool) and Ninja Gaiden

They are not.

They are actually very different games.

They're out there. You won't find them in a generic Wii game search by popularity. But the system does have its fair share of mature games, albeit niche and entirely overlooked. I played these nine M rated games, and they were all really interesting..
Madworld
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
House of the Dead: Overkill
No More Heroes 1 & 2
Resident Evil 4, RE: Unbrella Chronicles, RE: Darkside Chronicles, RE Archives

That they are franchises from the 80's, yeah they are similar in that fashion.

I'm not really arguing for Nintendo is grown up too, but moreso that it has games that anyone can enjoy. This includes games not for children. My favorite games for the Wii are MadWorld (which is far more violent and gorier than any PS3 or 360 game I know), No More Heroes, Super Mario Galaxy, House of the Dead: Overkill, Muramasa, and Metroid Prime 3. I'd say none of them are kiddie, but I think you might consider Mario kiddie because.

Rather than go through every game that's ever existed for a platform, I'd rather start with the best (at least, the games that are critically acclaimed). LINK

I won't bother to respond to Gummy Bears because there is embrassing shovelware for all consoles. Carl Tucker's Redneck Revenge is a thing and it's Wii, PS2 and PC.

A better gem.

I dont hate Nintendo in general. They are the reason I am playing high quality console games today.

I don't like the Wii and dont have high hopes for the Wii U.

Instead of focusing on the gamers that got Nintendo where they are they focused on the casual gamers who bought the console for the motiin control focused minigames and have been letting it collect dust for the past year plus. Does the Wii have some good games.... absolutely. But my favorite console is the PS3 because the focus of 95 percent of their games is the "hardcore" gamer.

I may be a little close minded when it comes to motion controls for wii versions of classic games because i grew up only using a controller. The "classic" series games that I played on the Wii were not enhanced at all my motion controls IMO. I really have tried to like them, but sitting in a chair twirling my arm isn't my idea of gaming.

Thats basically it i guess

The thing is Nintendo hasn't changed really; it's you who have changed. The GameCube proved that the general market of video gaming had changed and could no longer compete with PS and XBox, so they had to continue to innovate, something Playstation hasn't done once and X-Box did with X-Box Live and never since.

If you can't enjoy Mariokart and Smash Bros, it's pretty easy to conclude that you're an immature douche. This may come as a shocker, but great gameplay does not have to include blood, guns, and shite tons of violence.

That's like saying Scarface and The Little Mermaid are similar just because they were filmed in the 80s.
