None shocking, but the story of metal gear solid on ps1 pulled me in story wise and character wise than any other game until that point.

I would mock this, but the way they did the camera in that shot of Link giving the tree a look before finally running off, and then lingering on the tree a few seconds longer...pretty heavy moment.

The worst deaths in RDR for me were the last bigfoot and last buffalo. They really guilt tripped you hard with that bigfoot storyline.
