I wouldn't say underrated, everyone had one and they loved it.
I'd say it would be the gamecube, that thing was awesome and a bunch of people thought of it as a joke.

Since it was cancelled, it has been the most consistently overrated system ever.
It was OK. Ahead of it's time, even. But you can't call something "underrated", when everyone keeps saying it was the greatest of all time.
Most underrated system would be something like the NeoGeo or Atari Lynx.

You either forgot or haven't played the Shenmue series. Unforgivable either way.
The NFL 2K titles for Dreamcast were also some of the better football games ever made.
It's sort of a "cult console" now, and has been virtually since it went out of production, so I'd say it's about as underappreciated as Office Space.

the dreamcast was the biggest step forward of any gaming device ever. it is still mind blowing that DC games can stand up to today's games
