Alright guys, I need some help. I was never very good at Halo back in the day (and never had a 360 so never played halo past halo 2s campaign). Got the Xbone though, and was excited about getting to play the full series, and also try my hand at multiplayer.

Too bad i fricking suck at multiplayer, and I cant even begin to have fun online. What the hell is it about playing this game that I dont get? Anybody care to explain to me the fundamental way to get kills and avoid being killed in halo. Sounds like a stupid question, but when I shoot someone 5 times in the back with the battle rifle, and they dont die, turn a corner, and cone back and kill me with 2 shots, I am just lost.

I have no idea how to play this shite, and am wishing I never even tried. Sorry for all the bitching, but does anyone have advice? Thanks in advance.

BR you've got to get head shots for it to be effective.

Chunk grenades to take down the enemies shield. You pick up a ton and can hold 4 of each type so don't worry about wasting them.

So minus the matchmaking issues, are the remakes true tot he originals? Pistol still OP in CE? Warthog physics?

I was able to play today for the 1st time since before the matchmaking patch, and I had no problems whatsoever.

reading this thread is like reading someone's fricking diary.

Day 1:

Dear diary, I am excited for the release of this game. The prospect of playing through all of the campaigns on one disc is just incredible. That's not even including the multiplayer. HALO CE ONLINE MULTIPLAYER!! NO MORE XBC!


Day 2:

Dear diary, I have learned that the online portion of the game is completely broken and it saddens me. However, I still have the campaigns to play through so it should keep me busy until they patch it.


Day 3:

Dear diary, I've beat the campaigns and now I don't know what to do with myself. My friends and I know matchmaking doesn't work but we can play customs. Only problem is people are constantly getting kicked out of the lobbies and the party chat system is just unbelievably fricky. BUT! They've announced a fix patch to be released by Wednesday I hope they fix this soon..

Day 4:

Dear diary, I spent all day thinking about Halo and the patch being released today. I can't wait to get home and......wait, are you fricking kidding me?! The patch is being delayed? FOR frick SAKES 343 HOW HARD IS IT TO FIX YOUR BROKEN bullshite OF A GAME!! frick THIS shite!

Day 5:

PATCH! I LOVE HALO AND I LOVE MATCH MAKING! IT SEEMS TO HAVE WORKED! WOOHOO!!

Day 7:

frick this game. I can't find a game. I can't get into Lobbies with friends. If we get into a lobby we get split into teams, and then we have to rejoin each other. Most of the time we have to dashboard just to find a game. It's all just too much. I don't know whether to cry or push through all the bullshite. I...I...I just want to play
