PGA 2k21 releases tomorrow, 8/21.

Looking forward to this game. I have played a lot of The Golf Club 2 in the last few months and really enjoyed it. I havent played the 2019 game. Anyone else getting it ?
Wondering if there will be enough interest to get a TD society or crew going for tournaments.

I will be following. I was a big TW fan back in the day. If they have a fun ‘Be a Pro’ mode I will purchase.

Their 2019 game was great. They have done a really good job of improving mechanics and game play. Now they seem to be spending money on licensing rights to players and courses which is great.

Not gonna lie..... I’m really thinking bout getting it.
Sometimes it’s nice to have the AI play each other and just lay back and smoke a bowl n relax.

Got it pre-ordered. 2019 was a good golf game, and this looks like a huge improvement.

TGC2019 is a great game because they don't have the stupid Tiger Woods EA Sports crap like power/spin boosts, etc. The game was pretty challenging on the Master Club difficulty and took legit practice to become proficient at....much like real golf.
The streams look great so far and seeing some of the streamers flat out struggle on the hardest difficulty looks fun. I never understood why people want to play a golf game to shoot -20 every round.
The courses that the community puts out are great, far better than what the game's creators put out.
Really looking forward to this.

When I first saw things released for it, I did not think it looked very good. Has it made some good improvements?

The golf aspect of is supposed to be legit. Some reviews say it's the best simulation of golf ever in a video game.
The career mode isnt supposed to be too good out of the box though. Sponsors and rivalries don't really do anything (the rivalry system may even be broken because you can place higher than your rival in every tournament and still be considered losing the rivalry in game). Also the leveling up system just increases your overall score and auto boosts your stats. You don't get to put points in whatever category of your game that you want to get better at like in most golf games over the years.

The putting is harder for me than golf club 2. Seems like the pace of swing is way faster so I end up slamming the putt. But so far its pretty good. Only played a hole or two but I will put some hours in later.

I'm +3 after 14 on my first round. Moderate difficulty. This game fricks.
Now +2 after draining a 46 foot putt. Thank the lort for that putt preview

There is a really bad swing hitch on PS4 (I have a Pro fwiw), especially on shorter putts. Its making putting almost unplayable. You try and take the putter back slowly but the swing just resets and the only remedy is to have a faster backswing. Way too easy to blast short putts 15 feet by the hole. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Seems to be a widespread thing too. I tried wiring my controller too and that didn't fix anything.

according to reddit they just upped the putt speed a ton. some guy said he 4 putted from 5 feet because u basically dont have time to pull back and go forward
