You may be able to find a used Xeon E5-2603 for under $200. Those are socket 2011 chips. Mostly used for servers. They don't have iGPU like most core i5/i7 CPUs

I am trying to figure out what size fan that Myst takes and according to the internet the fan on it is fragile as hell and will blow up if something even slightly touches it while running.
I wonder if PowerColor knows this and will ship me one for free. About to go call them and find out.

Yea I just saw the 80mm as well. Thanks for the link. I figured about $9 give or take.
I am going to give the Myst to my nephew and sell this 7870 I have instead I guess.
Zotac also gave me a brand new 660Ti in exchange for that one I RMA'd. It should be here next week. I was debating on giving him that instead but this Myst will be better.

Guy sold this because it was getting BSOD but he had a shitty after market cooler on it. The card was getting too hot and that's why it would BSOD. I bought it, cleaned it up, added some Arctic 5, and put the factory cooler back on it along with some new double sided thermal tape on the memory and it runs great. Played BF3 for 5 hours straight last night and it never got over 62 degrees and never black screened. It actually hasn't BSOD since the first day I had it and was testing it out.

It's just a different level. He is testing out $1100 GPUs in $6500 set ups and I am testing $200 GPUs in a cheap test bench system I have.

im collecting parts to help my cousin get this little side project on the road. as is, ive just been waiting on good sales/coupons from online retailers but its obvious im going to have to get on ebay more.
what kind of criteria do you use to search with?

Full towers are freaking massive. My NZXT switch 810 is a "smaller" full tower, and that thing is huge
