Idk, it is like that when you buy the flag ship every gen.

The only time I was truly pissed off is when nVidia released the 780 Ti 3-4 months after the OG TITAN launch. One of the TITANS I grabbed off eBay for 1300 and one I was able to grab at retail price.

But with the release of the 780Ti at I believe 799 or 899, it cut my OG TITANS resale in half to $600 within 120days post launch.

Price you pay when buying each gens flag ship.

I'm waiting for big navi because no reason not to see what competition will be but that's where I'm thinking as well. I've never been in the pay a gigantic amount for a card that's marginally faster than much cheaper card crowd myself (I get why people do it, I just dont game nearly enough to justify it). Have a 5700XT right now I nabbed for $350 upon release which plays everything I need at 1080p 60FPS with maxxed out details....until I get Microsoft Flight Sim of course

And people spent $1,200-$1,400 for 2080Tis, and as soon as 3070 reviews get released there's probably no reaosn to pay more than $450 for them (some have been panic selling for $500 already). That's quite a drop I havent seen in some time. Just nuts. If it was "only" really $1000 it wouldnt be as bad, but the 2080 TI price inflation makes it so much worse.

I want to see a pic of it in hand... How wonky does it feel?

The fold phones so appealing to me. I'm not a power user, but whenever I use my phone, it's for media consumption/poker/google sheets. I would love the ability to multi-task on those phones

Yeah that's me as well.

Actually solid in the hands, its heavy but not bad. Chunky as hell closed and heavier. Front screen is nice upgrade makes using it like a regular phone possible now. Then flip it open when you want.

I'll take some more pics tomorrow out in the light and once its all setup.

I really need to upgrade from my OG XL because the battery life is basically non existent now. I wake up, use it for Waze/music to work occasionally use GroupMe/discord/TD if I'm not on my work PC, and by lunch I'm at like 30%.

The performance is okay, can be laggy at times but overall still enjoy the phone. I just wish coyote wasn't having problems with the 4a or I would go for that

I posted earlier in this thread about why this could be an issue.

Nvidia had concerns about yields for the modified Samsung 8nm process used to produce the RTX chips.

This was always going to be a paper launch.

Its a shame, because the performance, despite not being the 2x Nvidia claimed, is still amazing for the price.

This gives AMD an opening, if they can have proper stock of the RX 6000 series to make a dent if they can nail price/performance.
