The one dude in the gwent tournament had 5 or 6 if I remember correctly. Took quite a few tries to beat him.

Sasha was who killed me. I kid you not, one game I played her she had 8/10 that were some type of spy card. I got slaughtered that round.

I somehow beat everyone in that mission without having to reload. It certainly took strategy.
***SPOILERS REGARDING GERALT BEING THE GOAT***
Was pretty happy I got to play pig in the blanket with Sasha.

MORE SPOILER ABOUT MAKING THE SEX
FOR HAWGFAN: THIS SPOILER SPECIFICALLY REFERENCES A YOUNG VIXEN WHO YOU MAY OR MAY NOT MEET IN THE HILLS OF SKELLIGE. SHE MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE A SWORD.
YOU HAVE TO BEAT HER WITH YOUR SWORD. THEN YOU GET TO BEAT HER WITH YOUR SWORD AND NEVER TALK TO HER AGAIN.
Eta: lots of yelling. I have no regrets

I haven't played much gwent, but the person I remember kicking my arse repeatedly was some guy who had monster cards that would summon other monster cards when played.
Dude would jump up 20 pts a play.

I sucked bad against Monster decks until i figured out that you have to bait the shiite out of them and then use a biting frost card. If you can lower their hand in the first round then you should be good.
So I thought I was at the final battle, but nope. The game that keeps on giving.

Yeah, key with those sorts of decks is just to purposefully lose a hand and make them blow their wad. Works particularly well if you have 2-3 spy cards to throw. Or if you have a weather card that brings their melee to 1, and then you can throw the neutral card that takes out their highest melee card if their total is over 10. I've wiped out 10-12 cards at once before doing that against a monster deck. Though typically only when they throw the weather card, I usually don't use weather cards in my deck.

The battle of ****** was so fricking epic omg

So if it has a blue mark I had it when I got the achievement. Some of the spaces on the chart I left blank like the 2nd Albrich and some I had more than the chart like the Fire Elemental. I checked this before, during, and after I got the achievement. The last card I got was the Wyvern.

Inventory really became a problem so I had to leave vellen and start novigrad so I could get the best saddlebag.

Where is the best saddlebag?

SPOILER
I know you can get on from winning the horse races in Skelli, and there is also one in Velen/Novi. Takes you up to 160

Novigrad place you meet triss.

I was surprised that you get the best saddlebag there. I mean you'd think becoming the area horse race guy would get you some goodies, but no. Turns out the king of beggars merchant has saddlebags on lock.

one thing you are going to have to face, this game has been out long enough that spoilers are going to happen.

PC players -- experience any crashes when opening inventory? In the past few days, occasionally I'll get a crash to desktop when opening the inventory. I press i, the inventory page pops up for a second and then the game process terminates. It happens often enough that I save before opening inventory now.
Hotfix 1.06 is supposed to be released early next week, but it doesn't mention that bug.
The fixes for 1.06 (1.05 for consoles, to arrive later in the week) include:
- Fixes the endless loading screen when fighting the Ice Giant during the quest 'Lord of Undvik'
- Geralt's clothes will no longer be wet after leaving the menu
- The gate in the crypt now works correctly during the quest 'Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear'
- Fixes the lack of interaction with Roche on Oxenfurt Bridge in the quest 'Get Junior'
- Fixes an issue that prevented players from creating more than one item via Crafting/Alchemy
Oh, also... [SPOILERS ABOUT SKILL POINTS]
I just learned today that there are potions that let you reset your skill points and reallocate. Maybe I'm the only one who didn't know this.

The pots cost 1K, I have one but haven't used it. I have been getting random times when the game is running but I drop to my desktop and can't get back to the game, it happens during cut scenes and I have to space bar through them. It has been happening since the last patch or my last vid card driver, dunno which.

May have been mentioned somewhere along these 60 pages already, but I just got through the mission with Priscilla's song about Geralt and Yennifer, and that has to be one of the coolest scenes I've experienced in a video game. The song was actually very good and the singer had a beautiful voice. Add in the way the camera showed all of the different reactions of the audience, and this was just a singular scene which shows off the amount of depth in this game.
One particular thing I liked about it was this was probably the best example in any medium I've experienced of the power a bard can have. In games like Final Fantasy (which I've always loved) bards were just generic singers who when you activated their songs affected some trait of the monsters you were fighting. During Priscilla's song, you actually experienced the mood change rather than just seeing the results. Pretty damn cool.
