60 hours? I'm boned. I'm in the middle of Odyssey. I figured I'd take a break to get RDR2 done, but if it's that long, I might be able to get to RDR2 by Easter.

I'm a huge open world, RDR, and AC fan and this is an embarassment of riches.

RDR2 Campaign Cut By Five Hours

Re-skin everything and make those 5 hours the Undead Nightmare DLC.

Those 5 hours will definitely end up as dlc. Hopefully we get some story dlc other than just undead nightmare, though another one of those would be cool too.

I just read that the dev team has been working 80-100 hour work weeks for months. I'm tempted to buy just to support the poor bastards

Just got back from a week vacation in New York. If billboards/advertisements are any indication then bank on RD2 and the TV show The Rookie to be huge. Every corner in Manhattan had a RD2 or Rookie advertisement.

I think that's normal for video game developers. I've heard stories of Atari devs sleeping at their desk rather than going home because they were working 80+ hour weeks.

I paid for the ultra platinum edition that allows early access and I’m like 15 hours in. The gameplay is good but they really clobber you over the head with all the diversity stuff

yyyyyyyyy are Rockstar games always so long?

GTA usually clocks in around 30 hours for me

I'm 35 hours into AC Odyssey but only halfway through the main story. I don't think the campaign itself is anywhere near that long though. I've just enjoyed playing the role of mercenary in ancient Greece.

60 hours. So with all the side missions I’ll have had my fill around 2020 or so.

I'm ready. This game looks awesome. Had to buy a HDD just for it, but it'll be worth it. Plus I can finally reload a whole bunch of old games I had cleaned off.

This is always the death of me in open-world games.

I always go with the "Well there's that mission right next to me" thinking that causes me to do one main storyline mission in a three-hour session

With the limited in-game stuff I've seen, I can already tell I'm just going to hunt and fish and ride my horse around for hours and hours and hours.

And apparently npc's remember your actions so if you save them/help them (or not) they'll remember later, so in the beginning, I'll be doing everything.

Yep. Also if you kill someone, some of their family may hunt you down and try and exact revenge. I'm going to be the most wanted man in existence.

In the first red dead I played john marston as the good guy/white hat but when they made me take on the role of his piss pants son i played him like the most evil character ever. It would be crazy if at some point during teh story line marston kills Arthur and you get to end the game as John coming full circle.

I played John like an a-hole. I'd help anyone that asked, I'd just usually kill them afterwards if it was possible. Lots of duels from overtly cheating in poker.
