I can't understand how these people are loaded up and evolved so much already. They must be hunting their arse off.

Aside from buying them, yes. Well, you do get Pokeballs when you level up.

Different pokemon are weak and strong vs other types.
Evees are common and can turn into a fire/electric/water type.
When taking gyms, having strong pokemon with advantageous damage types really helps.
Evees only require 25 candy to evo so they are good

Leveling is triggering me. Its this constant battle. Use dust here? No here! No wait? Here! No should i wait until im level 10 before i use my dust on higher pokemon? But i want to use it now! But what if i regret it? Guess ill wait : (

Found a red gym lvl 5 with the boss at 1300 Staryu.
I put my 500 Vaporeon in it as the 5th Pokemon. I think I might actually hold this one!!!

Don't use dust until at least level 20. I'm 19 now and I promise it's a waste of resources, you're going to replace things so fast until the leveling curve steepens.

I'm starting to think this game is like the old game boy game.
Don't bother with the Pokemon at the beginning as you'll just catch the same or better at much higher levels later on.
