I play most ADC's this way (Ashe, Jinx, Cait).
But with Varus, I feel that this build synergizes well with his abilities and allows him a different role other than just straight DPS.
It also allows me to sit further back as his Q has such a long range.

Not sure we would have won the game had I bought it, but it certainly would have helped.
Playing against a Kayle/Zilean was getting annoying as well.

Oh, ok. I couldn't tell if you were laning against the Zed mid or not from what you had said.

The Zed deaths came later in the game during team fights, after laning phase was over.

Rotating Queue is coming soon. I think this will be a good replacement for Dominion (which I never played anyway). I'm thinking the modes will be Dominion, URF, Hex-a-Kill, Doombots, Ascension, Legend of the Poro King, and not sure what else.

I wasn't a fan of the Doombots game mode.
Honestly, the only two modes I liked outside of standard and ARAM were URF and Hexakill.
ETA: I take that back. I liked One for All as well. Both the version where your team votes for YOUR champs, and the version where you vote for the OTHER team's champs

They specifically mentioned One for All.
I think Dominion and Doom Botd will be a great "one weekend" addition. Not something I want to play much but i will queue up once or twice for the novelty.

I think I'm giving up on the Lulu top.
While I love the champion and the utility she brings, I feel like she is too reliant on the rest of the team to be effective.
I've found Morgana and Annie top to work quite well. They offer utility as well as consistent damage output.
Anyone on here play Vlad? Been considering playing him. Is it worth my time?

I play with someone who pretty much mains top and said Vlad was different to adjust to. He felt useless the first couple games he played in early game.
I've seen some really good Vlads though.

I've never gotten into playing very many AP top laners. I typically stick to Nasus/Garen.
Although I have been trying Graves/Quinn up there and it's been fun.

Same with the AP top lane. When I play top, which is rare, I like to go tanky AD.
Only exception is Swain. I enjoy playing Swain top.
Annie top seems fun. I may bring her to top lane in a normal soon.

For sure. You can just sit back and farm with your Q forever.
Just pay attention to your passive and you can pretty much stop any gank in a heartbeat with your stun. This works especially well when you get dove under tower with your ult up. Double kill every time.
