Not nearly enough.

On a side note, I played TF for the first time ever last night. He is pretty fun.

If Riot Patched Real Life, 4.10

LINK

quote:

- We have buffed vegetables! - Vegetables have for a long time been ignored and unused compared to their more tasty alternatives despite how nutritious they are for you, we feel that with these changes should help them be selected more. Vegetables no longer taste like crap and now instead taste like strawberry shortcake; in addition they no longer have weird and dissatisfying appearances and instead all vegetables look juicy and appetizing. We hope you like the change, get out there and start enjoying your veggies!

-We at Riot have decided that the previous buffs to vegetables that we made ten seconds ago were just too powerful and that by combining nutrition and deliciousness veggies are too dominant, with that said we have decided to give vegetables some small changes to help bring them back in line. Vegetables are no longer delicious and now taste like orange juice mixed with tooth paste, also, they no longer look appealing and now have a sharp pokey skin that you must peel with your hands. In addition, vegetables are no longer nutritious.

Just saved up enough IP to pick up Nocturne!
All you Nocturne junglers out there. Give me some advice.
Been going Feral Flare, BOTRK, Randuins, Frozen Mallet.

Basically damage early, then all tank after that.
Because of the early damage and successful ganks. They tend to focus me.
I'll end up dying, but the team mops up.

Most games end in surrender.
I forgot how much fun jungling was.

I've been doing placement for ranked. Of my 5 losses, 4 of them we had an afk and surrendered at 20 mins. Seems like this is common with ranked games from what I'm told.

I've been working hard at developing my mid/adc so that I can be flexible in my role when playing ranked (and not just jungle).

My match history usually has a positive win/loss ratio. 7:3, 6:4. Oftentimes, there is an AFK/DC in the losses, but not always.

I actually started using LolKing/LolNexus lately to look up the people on my team... and on the other team. Mostly Silver and Bronze... A few golds every now and then.

But from the comments everyone seems to make about how toxic ranked can be, I'm just not sure there is any point in playing ranked.

The problem with ranked (and maybe this game in general) is that because EVERYONE talks about how toxic it is, that is the excuse people use when they lose.

There are so many reasons people can use as to why they aren't ranked more highly, but the most legit is that people just aren't learning the game as quickly as they should. They are using toxicity, trolls, etc as the ONLY reason they lose.

I was certainly guilty of it when I first started playing. Now I'm of the mindset of "We lost, clearly I should have played better".

There is no denying the fact that it makes it 1000 times harder to win a match when you have to deal with someone raging, intentionally feeding, and over all just being the definition of toxic. But it shouldn't be used as an excuse to loose.

Normals are just as toxic as ranked. It comes down to one thing, how well the team plays. Team does well, everyone is happy. Team does bad, there is going to be at least one person that rages.

Then there is the occasional guy that gets mad because even though the team is winning, he's not getting 'his kills'

Is this the same group I played with twice the other night and got stuck against a bunch of gold players the first match?

Yea we got fricking waxed lol. What 4 of them were gold?

Second match we played well, sorry I kept accidentally getting your kills - I just hate letting someone get away. Happened too me last night.

4 of them were Gold IV and V and the thresh was Bronze I. I felt really bad at how shitty I was playing, but then I realized pretty much all of all our matchups were getting face raped...I didn't feel AS bad then

I don't get mad when people "take" kills as support. However, don't expect me to be as potent (damage-wise) later in the game when during the laning phase my support has 3-4 kills and I only have 1

I'm the same way though. Too many times as support, I've not killed someone on purpose only to see them get away. It just isn't worth the risk if you aren't 100% positive your ADC will get that kill.

ETA: Is there any reason a mid TF would be denied blue buff by their jungler? I know his blue card restores mana, but I'd still think you'd like to give the blue buff to TF.

Three games in a row now that my jungler calls me out for trying to take it. Should I not be taking blue buff as TF?

That's what I figured, but I don't play a lot of mid, so I wasn't sure.

Seemed pretty retarded not to give it me.

The only jungler I don't give out blue on is Kha'Zix because without mana he's nothing and he has to spam abilities to do damage. Other than that, if you aren't an energy champion, you should be getting blues after the 2nd blue. Some junglers can even give you the 2nd one.

Some jungles definitely need blue more than TF. Some jungles like Hec need almost every blue just like some mids like Anivia do.

That's good to know. I try not to consume too much mana, but there were a couple of times I ran out during a team fight.

TF is hella fun to play and he wasn't as difficult to learn initially as I thought he would be. Still need to use his ult properly though. I don't even want to know what my teammates are thinking when I blow it at the wrong time.

Orianna is pretty dependent on Blue. Especially against a manaless champion.

Some junglers need it... but they can also prioritize trying to steal the other blue.
Drop a sneaky ward at 6:55 and wait in the river bush to smite steal.

If I haven't ganked for mid lane, I'll often give them the 2nd blue... and the rest.
