it's going to take a decent bit of leveling until you are truly invisible to enemies.
I am level 16, 10 AGI and rank 3 in sneak. I would think that by this point, it shouldn't be too hard to sneak around, yet it is. I will keep going with it, but I have to say it is dicey at best.

I know in Skyrim, certain attire would be louder than others when moving around. Not sure if that mechanic is present in the Fallout games.

I find that walking is better than crouching. Maybe im crazy, but when I walk through a dungeon it seems quieter than crouching.

Apparently, I missed a tool tip early in the game.
Stealth is affected by the weight of your armor.
Investing in enough STR to get armorer and make your armor lighter will help.
I guess I need to do that and gun nut to get some better mods to my stuff and move towards building my character better now that I am lvl 16 and rounding it out.

Yeah. Heavy armor in Skyrim was a no-go if you wanted to go stealth.

I looked for you. Join me in thinking about the game without playing

Oh man, my base is coming along better than I imagined. I've never been so proud of doing something in a video game.
I also tried to go to Diamond City again once I ran out of resources for my base but I keep getting side tracked. I spent about 2 hours trying to get there and I just kept finding other cool stuff to do.
Potential Spoilers for people early in the game
Anyone else use those service droids to fight the alpha deathclaw in that park just outside Diamond City? That was awesome.

I started to, it crashed, then I decided to get all of the pictures on our camera backed up to the computer. When I finished, it was 11 and I was done.

I must be missing this, because i haven't seen it. Unless it's in furniture and not storage items.

I always play sneak characters in these games. Leaning towards strength/melee.
What's everyone playing?

Perception/Charisma/Intelligence

Mine is melee/grenades/hvy weapons.
High Endurance
Medium Luck, Perception, Strength.
When baddies get close I use melee, otherwise I pull them out with explosives.
I tried a very melee heavy build, but that seemed really tough to pull off even just on hard mode. I'll revisit it later once I get a better feel for the game.

story of my life
Man it would be epic if they had some form of multiplayer and we could make a TD server with all of our bases.

I started a new game last night. Beat the game and got bored with my character. Going full ninja mode on this one and playing on max difficulty. Going to focus on base building and resources and go at this slowly.

Fwiw, always pick sarcastic answers
I went into some little town and a guy was like "pay me for insurance." I picked Sarcastic and my guys like "if it's insurance to protect me from stupid assholes trying to extort me for insurance, I'm interested"

Outside of the luck category I feel like I am a hodgepodge of everything.
I start doing something, whether it is crafting weapons, building settlements, exploring, etc..and find out I need a specific perk to do so. I then spend time leveling up to get that perk only be distracted with doing something else and the perk required to do that.
