and IMO, that hidden basement is one of the coolest places in the game. It' enormous

Another crash to desktop.

Wondering if the massive amount of items is causing this nonsense.

I hope they get patches soon, because I can't progress through a number of quests due to Monsignor plaza . This one glitched zone has stopped me from being able to complete the MQ, BoS questline, and I think 4 other side quests.

What a damn shame. I otherwise feel this is Bethesda's best game since Morrowind, and by a large margin. It's got the creativity of the Shivering Isles, The Pitt, Point Lookout, and Dragonborn expansions.

I've only had one real glitch so far and all I had to do was reload the game.

I have had about 7 crashes to desktop but nothing major since I save all of the time.

I was almost positive settlement raids stop at a certain level and then I finally had one after about 3 nights with none.

Then I accidentally killed poor Abigail Finch when she stepped in front of my 44 when I was nailing a legendary raider to a tree.

I'll ask again, anyone have Boston Airport as a settlement and know where the workshop is? I can't find it but Boston Airport is on my list.

Can we take over the Ghoul Farm "The Slog?"

Na! This one is a million times better and that isn't hyperbole.

The removal of the level cap and making junk useful, easily makes this a superior game.

3 had a better story IMO. Granted I didn't finish it until after patches and first DLC so I didn't have a "wtf" ending. 3 and NV drew me in more than 4 did. 4 has some pretty easy spoilers in the game. I had theories at first and after one quest in particular it all made sense and clicked and I was right about the general outline of things.

The map felt a good bit bigger in 3. I understand the idea for 4 is to be in the heart of it all and they built "up" rather than "out" but still.

Level cap didn't bother me but I do like the way they set 4 up better.

Can't argue crafting although I would like the repair system like 3 and NV had. It is WAY more convenient to not have gear that degrades but it kinda takes away from the experience for me. Extremely minor complaint but I wish they would have incorporated it.

I've seen reviewers bitch about companions and how it isn't a big change from NV but personally I don't think that's the case. I played NV a few days to put off finishing 4 but the companions SUCKED in NV. Their AI was pretty shitty and they weren't near as useful as in 4. They didn't change much but there was a large bang for your buck in terms of change there.

And Liam Neeson.

I don't think that having a good idea of how the main story ends really affects the enjoyment of Fallout. There are so many side stories that the main path isn't really THAT important.

FO3's ending was pretty dumb, but that never stops me from playing it.

Again, Brotherhood of Steel is a bag of dicks. Think I will declare war at some point.

beat minutemen ending (sucked) and Brotherhood ending (awesome. elder maxson with a gatling laser omfg)

i have saves before all pivotal moments so im going to finish with institute and railroad next, though i doubt they will offer much more. im assuming i will have to lead an assault on the prydwen, which should be epic

beating the main story with Brotherhood nets you a jetpack, which will be tough to top. whichever branch has the best ending rewards is the one ill stick with for postgame. will most likely be brotherhood

So do you think it is wise to do the story line to get those perks for all the exploring we like to do?

SPOILER

And yet another spooky part of the game, the maze. I was being so utterly cautious and astute that I almost fell off my chair when a pack of ghouls appeared around one corner running at me 1,000,000mph with traps still set all around me

I just did the Valentine Mission following dogmeat to locate Kellogg. Should I use the power armor to storm that fort? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Nah. You'll be ok. Just be sure to Quick Save often.

Every person has a different game rolling so there are no real definitive statements about what you need to use.

Depending on your build and level it could vary greatly.

I've only used the Power Armor to lessen the radiation effect in super radiated areas.

I use it now from time to time just for the extra carrying capacity but the decreased viewing and much lower light level aggravates me enough that I don't use it often.

This mod would be awesome if it would affect the AI of enemies. Doubt it does.
