ETA: Power leveling by getting one quarter mastery and one cleansing the commonwealth mission, doing them in 20 ish minutes, then going back and quicksaving / reloading until savant procs (125 xp x5 or x3) twice will net about 750xp at savant lvl 1 and 1250xp at savant 2.

Really no reason to worry about leveling. It isn't a grind at all. No need to rush it.

Well my motivation for rushing through some levels is to correct some build errors I made early on that are hampering me a little. Specifically armorer and gun nut being neglected, and not putting enough special points into luck

Devious loves to power level

I started over after 26 hours.
But... that is normal for me. I usually learn the dynamics of a game then reset.
In this case, I really didn't need to reset. Since we don't have a level cap and leveling really isn't a grind, I probably should have continued with my test toon.
For those not doing it, settlement building is easy XP.
Cooking is easy XP. Just be careful not to make Cake. It uses up your oil.
And making Chems is easy XP.

Also, before building, cooking, making mods, etc always sleep for 8 hrs first, you get a EXP boost after sleeping

Can't remember the last time I slept. I just stimpack any injury.

I sleep if there is a bed. Save those stimpacks if you can.

Save those stimpacks if you can.
Still have plenty banked. I tend to bank everything over 40, so I know I have a big batch in the workshop.

It does have its creepy moments. I was on top of the highway last night when a radiation storm came in. I got a full 360 view of the map with the green clouds and radiation lightning. shite freaked me out.

What is funny is how creeped out I get at night. Daytime, the game is beautiful and I don't get that anxiety creeping up. Night time, another story.
Seems like daytime lasts for minutes but night lasts for hours.
Also seems like I always get ghoul duty at night.

Another crash to desktop.
Wondering if the massive amount of items is causing this nonsense.
Has anyone read about a patch? Anything released yet?
I ask because once again, I haven't had any settlements attacked.
I was wondering if they rebalanced the number of attacks on settlements. If not, then there must be a point in the game when they drop in frequency.
I haven't gone this long without a warning of impending attack since I opened my first couple of settlements.
