I saw less gloom in TOTK than in your posts. We get it, you do not like the art direction, go play the N64 or 3DS versions and enjoy the savings.

Only real issue I have with child version Link is his eyes, child version Zelda looks diseased, I think its the hat and her eyes being so far apart. Other then that Saria, Ganandorf, Sheik, adult link all look great.
I also think this version of the Great Fairy will bring another generation of kids to adulthood and have moms washing a lot of stiff socks

I think a lot of this is nintendo fans not being use to hyper-realism coming from nintendo, and they just are not sure how to feel about it yet. This is a very non-nintendo style aesthetic

Late to the party but it looks amazing. My 8 and 13 year olds were both blown away by how cool it looks. I’m surprised people are bitching about this.
