Preorder price seems to have gone up to normal everywhere but Walmart. Not sure why Walmart is selling it for less than MSRP. Definitely something to watch for future releases.

Is it $69.99 for the disc version?
Went full digital a long time ago. Preordered on my Switch 2 and it was $59.99.
One interesting thing I noticed was the file size. Shows 27gb required.
BOTW Upgrade and all DLC is 25gb.
TOTK Upgrade is only 20gb.
So, for what will be a much smaller land base. I recall the devs once said the entire map of the original OOT would be equal to the Great Plateau. It packs a punch on the graphics end to hit 27gb.

That's pretty wild.

I hope the one I ordered from Nintendo's website is in that packaging.

Babylon Bee with a solid piece right there.

Ordered physical and don’t even have a Switch yet.
Watched another vid and it’s baffling how much better the adult versions look. Adult Link looks great and Sheikh looks amazing despite the people bitching that the design is too obviously feminine. The quality of the adults makes the the child versions even more insane. Link looks like a cherub lol
Still not a fan of all the fog and volumetric effects. Not watching any more vids though, want it to be fresh

I did the same thing. I was waiting for my trigger to finally buy the Switch 2, and this was it.

I've had the console since launch and it's been amazing. There's never been a shortage of games to play and the console exclusives (MK World, Bananza, Splatoon Raiders, etc), have all been fantastic.

Not to mention playing the Switch 2 versions of BOTW and TOTK with 60fps. Funny thing is outside of those two my most played game is still Clubhouse Games. Nintendo's most underrated game.

If tweet fails to load, click here. A little more info about the foil cover in this tweet from EB Games in Canada. It's a slipcover instead of printed on the case itself. Not a huge revelation by any means, but what this would look like wasn't really fleshed out during the reveal.

This damn game is going to be delivered while I’m out of the country. I didn’t double check the dates!

The disc version is back to $59.88 on both WalMart and Amazon. It looks like the price is going back and forth at random times.

Just to note: Walmart has straight up free shipping on this. With Amazon, you can get free shipping delivered after the release date (or if you're a Prime member). Otherwise you have to pay $10 to guarantee release day shipping.

Everything is overly detailed to the point of it looking fake
Reality isn't as detailed as Links clothes and accessories are.l in this game. It's like it's under 10x magnification
Have you ever seen anyone or anything in your actual life have that level of detail? Just adds a weirdness to it.

Yea, I'm not really a fan of how absurdly detailed Link is compared to the NPCs in castle town, but the more I see it, the less I care. It's just annoying is all.
That said, they compiled some extended and additional footage that was posted in japan.

I mean, it's a fantasy world not reality. I've also never seen fish people or talking trees in my actual life either.

Then you haven't partied!
I know the big discussion is about the "look" but damn this is what I wanted Wind Waker to look like as a kid. I was annoyed at that art direction but still bought that on day 1. Loved it and it still looks amazing. I'll trust the process with this one too.
