Divinity 2 is a fantastic game.

I was in the mood for an old school JRPG so I’m playing Dragon Quest 11. I’m enjoying it even though it’s nothing special.

The characters are pretty good, but the story is bleh. It’s very pretty, but the music is mediocre at best. The battle system is...fine. It’s very old-school turn-based so if you don’t like that, obviously ignore.

That doesn’t sound like a glowing review but there’s something likeable about it that’s sort
of hard to describe.

Ni No Kuni?

I played a little of Dragons Dogma the other night. Had fun during the intro but it hung up in character creation. Hopefully that was a one time thing.

You should check out Dauntless. It’s a F2P game on the PS4. It’s very similar to Monster Hunter.

Along with Witcher 3 and Skyrim, my absolute favorite medieval fantasy RPG of the PS3/4 era. I created 5 additional accounts just to be able to keep making uber pawns that I had permanent access to.

And on hard mode, certain parts of Bitterblack Isle will still eviscerate your party even at max level with the game's absolute best equipment.
