Madden 19 was the first madden I had played in years. It was easily the biggest piece of garbage I have ever played.

After playing using the EA Access I’m torn. My itch for football has came back

I've enjoyed the game so far, though I have't done hardly any online stuff.
I've enjoyed the gameplay. If you step up the difficulty, you definitely need to adjust the sliders some, especially regarding the fumbles and dropped passes and stuff. It can get a little ridiculous. I've liked the game though. Looks fantastic. I haven't played a Madden game in years, so to me it is all mostly new features.

I've played a couple games with him. He is definitely fun to run around with. Haven't don't too much franchise mode yet. Been running through with the face of the franchise mode. Took the Raiders to the SB. Things are going well

I'll probably wait until this one drops to $20 or so to try it out. I'm a big franchise guy so until they actually overhaul the franchise mode and stop just polishing the turd with little insignificant changes every year, I won't be paying full price.

Madden 19 is still $40 on Origin. I'm holding out till it's cheaper so I can use the NCAA Mod.

Alright, I finally dove into the franchise mode and I can see what you guys are saying about the fumbling . If you do a high hit stick on someone, they are fumbling. It is crazy. I've adjusted those sliders way down and it still is off the charts.
Also, is pass defense just absurdly hard? Every game I play, the QB is like 23-27 or some crazy thing like that. I can do a good job not giving up any big passes, but it is crazy how one guy is always open no matter what.

I feel the same. They could make the franchise mode a lot better but they are so into pumping that madden ultimate team shite they ignore franchise mode.

The guys that made the Madden 19 NCAA mod released a "teaser" file for Madden 20 that lets you play as the college teams with 2018 rosters. (LSU, OU, Florida, Clemson, FSU, USC, Texas, Oregon)
You can play full games. You can do it on the trial also.
Available on PC and PS4. All you do is download the roster file. LINK
Intro helmet clip and endzones have NFL logos, but the scoreboard/rosters/etc., are college teams.

The game is growing on me. I still don’t care for this new rpg style progression system. I play with a very specific style on defense and not being able to progress individual attributes annoys me.

I have no idea lol. I play with Donald or Khalil Mack and they seem average. With the CPU they play like they’re Lawrence Taylor on steroids

What level are you guys playing on and what play style? All-Madden is a bitch of a level that deliberately favors the CPU especially if you leave the sliders alone. All-Pro makes everything even, no advantage either side. Pro gives you a little advantage. Rookie, well that’s for kids and first timers.
I only play simulation style and All-Pro with slight tweaks to the sliders. I will say this: when you adjust the sliders, even slightly, it makes a world of difference this year. Last few years, you had to wildly adjust the slider for it to make any difference. This year, a 5-10 point adjustment is VERY noticeable.
