I enjoyed it, story was interesting and the game is really pretty. It kept me engaged until I beat it. I played 3rd difficulty and had a really good challenge.
Yeah, I dislike it when games treat the lightsaber like a glowing baton instead of a plasma weapon. Jedi Academy did it the best, but when you do that you have to up the difficulty in other ways where it becomes almost a beat em up. Glowing baton worked ok here.

Further, the PS4 controller micro USB input is God awful. I have issues with the controller constantly disconnecting on PC, and hearing the USB sound every time it connects a split second later after it disconnects. I have to find a solution for this short of buying new cables every so often... which seems to fix it sometimes before it loosens again. These were clearly never meant to be played wired.
I've been playing with M+KB but considering PS4 controller... Maybe I'll stick with M+KB
ETA
I have a BT dongle. Do you know if PS4 controller can hook up to it?

having to spend 7 years trying to get back to a spot if you missed a collectible, or trying to find your way back to the ship are annoying
This is my biggest complaint. I’m trying to get all the collections. frick Zeffo. It takes so damn long to get back once you dive deep. The map isn’t much help either.

Ngl I had to switch from Jedi master to the 2nd one, I just don't seem to have it in these timing/parry games but I love the story and getting stuff for my saber/character but I feel like I get lost every 5 min, also I think once you rest at one of the places you should be able to fast travel there anytime you want or any of the previous ones on that planet. Also the animation for finishing Storm troopers or whoever would've been so much cooler if you could cut thru them like a real light saber, your pretty much just carrying a sword which is lame

Game is starting to lose me. The backtracking gets really tedious after a while. Can't believe it's the same damn 4 planets the entire game
The game should've just had levels with huge action set pieces instead of this half arse metroidvania shite

I'm playing on Jedi Grand Master and it's tough.. that Jotak beast thing in the Ice Caves man. I got it easily once and then after that I kept trying to get kill it to get better at the game and it just destroys me. I think the really high difficulty makes the game more enjoyable. I just suck at finding all of the secrets and exploring right now.. I know I have to go back to some planets to use abilities I get later I didn't have... but man I'm just not seeing stuff. Guess that'll be fun to try and get everything.
My question is can you screw yourself in the skill tree? Or can you get enough points to just do everything? I'm putting a lot of resources into lightsaber and only took the increased force and life perks one time each so far. About to go to Kasyhkk.
Regarding the post a couple up.. parrying seems bad or just REALLY hard. I don't really get it. I know I'm on Jedi Grand Master but parry doesn't really stun enemies. Just makes them more aggressive to me. Usually when I try to parry a bunch I die. I'm just better off running circles around them.

maybe it's because I ran through Sekiro 3 times, but I'm finding Grand Master way too easy. hope it gets tougher once I'm off of Zeffo

I agree that it would be better if it was more like the intro, but that may be down to me just preferring that style of game to something like Metroid.
Zeffo is the worst about this. It's just so big, and finding where you need to go, especially when returning to the ship or after a new area opens up is a huge pain.

I've gotten most of the story done. I'm playing on Jedi Master and its been challenging for me, but I've never really been in to Parry games that heavy. I got all the chest and secrets from Kashyyek, but Zeffo is massive and that may take a while.
The story has been great and I've really enjoyed the game a lot. There are few bugs, but its mostly stuff that can probably be fixed easily. Not sure I'm gonna do the 100% grind though.

I have Sekiro and didn't get very far... got to the big fat dude with like 2 other body guards I think.

I'm doing easy story mode for my first play through so I can get the lay of the maps and get collectibles more easily without beating my head against the wall. Really enjoying it.
Hardest difficulty for my next play through.

The game feels super small.
It's not good well done backtracking like in GoW.
Just not really fun, the mechanics and running in circles (literally) on the same planet/zone makes it feel like I'm playing training sim within Forced Unleashed.
If it wasn't for some EU/Legends stuff which are now Canon and comic lore, idt I could finish.

Yup, returning to the ship is by the most annoying part of the game. Just seems like a lot of the features (returning to the ship + simple as shite puzzles) are cheap ways to pad the length of the game.
I will say the solo boss fights are really fun tho

Im in Kashyyk and I haven't too much of a problem with frame drops prior to, but it's BAD on Kashyyk. Even in the middle of fights in small spaces I'm going from a steady 60fps to 2 or outright freezes for a couple of seconds.
By far the biggest issue I've run into so far.

the performance is unacceptable right now tbh. thinking about taking a break till they patch it

It's pretty bad. It makes combat much harder.

Having played AC Unity and Kingdom Come Deliverance, it's not that bad, but it is noticeable.

Hmm I'm about to go to Kashyyk.. I'm only on 1080p / 60 Hz with a 2070, i5-9600K anda 16 GB 3000Mhz so it'll be interesting. It hasn't been the smoothest game so far that's for sure.

Definitely sounds like the port over to PC has been pretty poor. I finished the campaign over the weekend and didn't have a single stuttering issue or anything playing on the One X.
That is really unfortunate though, because the game I'm sure is gorgeous on PC.

Looks cool but sounds like I shouldn't buy this game on PC right now.
