Here bug eyes freak me out!

The jump mechanics make me laugh. They make absolutely no sense.
The game is sort of goofy at times. It's meh, storytelling is a little on the nose.
Only thing I'm liking so far are the Sisters (as an EU/Legends and SW Comics fan). The ancient artifacts (esp as a fan of the novels) are cool but aren't utilized right in the story.
Repeating myself here, but it's a good game just not a knock out the park like I hoped.

Relies on jump puzzles, makes you repeat enemies to progress, and well....the console plague. Kinda fun but not bad.

I'm loving it. Having a blast. It's been a while since I've played a game with the Uncharted mechanics and the combat is challenging.
I don't buy many brand new games these days but I'm certainly glad I bought it.
I'm hearing that the story is only 15ish hours, which is a bit disappointing

I hate Uncharted (mainly because cutscenes) but this game is garbage in terms of "Uncharted" mechanics. The jumping and climbing felt good in that game. This game I feel clumsy.

The only thing that feels clumsy to me is the having to press a button to actually grab something after jumping to it, and once you get used to that mechanic it's fine. Otherwise I haven't had any complaints
Different strokes.

Yeah, I almost did during the "tutorial section" because I kept forgetting to press LT and A to grab ropes. On PC with XBONE controller.

Playing on Jedi Master (or whatever the second hardest difficulty is). Went to Dathomir first. It’s going poorly at the moment.

Playing on a ps slim and the game seems to chug a lot

I did the same thing
Go to the other one. You can go back.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the game so far. I’m not playing on a very hard difficulty this first run, so that has helped, but game is gorgeous and loving the story so far. Bringing in a ton of Clone Wars elements in.

Yeah, I just finally gave up beating my head against the wall and went to Zeffo. Much easier, although it’s not an easy game on hard.
I really like it so far. I don’t care about the climbing one way or another, but outside of that I’m a fan. I have no issues with them clearly trying to make the combat be bloodborne with light sabers - I loved bloodborne.
If you don’t like Star Wars then it’s just a good game that copies a lot of shite pretty well.
I haven’t had any bugs or major performance issues outside of some slowdown in certain areas. I’ve only noticed the slowdown outside of combat.

Playing on master and I'm getting arse absolutely handed to me against the giant frog in the cave on the first planet

The terrarium might be the worst collection mechanic in any game.

Same. Best to save him for after the main mission is complete on that planet. You have access to the roof above him and can drop down for a strike that takes off half his health. You’ll also get the ability to heal by that point too.

The good:
-beautiful game with a lot of little details that make it feel like Star Wars
-flashbacks to help you learn new abilities is a creative touch
The bad:
-jump puzzles and having to spend 7 years trying to get back to a spot if you missed a collectible, or trying to find your way back to the ship are annoying
-the enemy mechanics are bloody awful. Enemy AI is on par with a Nintendo 64 game.
-Cant slice any non-creature enemy apart. Very lame.

While I haven’t had major performance issues, the loading times after you die are pretty bad.
Probably could have used a delay to clean some things up, but it’s a really fun game.

I'm enjoying the game. Playing on Jedi Grand Master.. what I don't enjoy is Origin not launching through Steam automatically - it is just stuck on Connecting to Origin. I have to manually open the Origin DRM, then launch the game through Steam.
Also, my two-factor authentication on Origin is messing up and not sending me codes and now it is making me wait some indeterminable amount of time before it'll resend me codes. So I can't even play right now...
Further, the PS4 controller micro USB input is God awful. I have issues with the controller constantly disconnecting on PC, and hearing the USB sound every time it connects a split second later after it disconnects. I have to find a solution for this short of buying new cables every so often... which seems to fix it sometimes before it loosens again. These were clearly never meant to be played wired.
