I wish the game had items that actually mattered.

I will not wear a poncho. They look dumb.

The lightsaber parts are sort of cool, but don’t add anything.

Pretty much all the collectibles are useless.

biggest issue with the game. unrewarding exploration

Welcome to video games.
What I meant by that was, all items you find don’t add stats or anything tangible.

And the outfits are awful.

It really doesn’t offer incentives to explore.

I've been playing with the red lightsaber and I feel like a bit of a naughty little boy and it just makes me feel weird. Especially so since I know the backstory as to why Sith Lightsabers are red and how and why the color red all but forbidden for Jedi to use for their lightsaber.

The kyber crystals that power the lightsaber are bleeding when they're red because the Sith bended them against their will and its violence against the crystal.

When Ahsoka Tano got her new lightsabers, she took them from one of Vader's inquisitors and turned the crystals in them from red to white by healing them with the force.

I'm enjoying it so far. It definitely got some jank (running animations are just so bad), but it's still enjoyable. I'm not very far though.

I've definitely encountered several bugs though.

I overall enjoyed it, but it needed about a 6 month delay. I didn’t have a ton of glitches, but there were more than you’d expect from a AAA game.

I also had some weird AI stuff. Like enemies that would just stand there and do literally nothing, especially after you spawned.

And the graphics were so uneven. Parts of it looked good, but then there was a lot of weird pop-in stuff. And some of the NPCs looked hilariously bad - like they just completely ran out of time trying to make them.

Definitely rough around the edges. That being said, it was still one of my favorite games of the year.

sorry you experience hasnt been stellar Scruffy. I really really enjoyed the game. I was surprised how much backlash it was getting. Ive never been a "souls" type game person, so this was a baby version i could get into.

By far the biggest issue with the game is regenerating enemies after every save point. I get it enemies respawn if I leave a planet and return, but punishing me for using a save point? bullshite.

And the boss battles that basically force you into a very specific play style - just make that shite an interactive cutscene then and get it over with.

Origin's premier access is so clutch for games like this.

Basic and you can play the real awesome Star Wars games like Dark Forces 2.

This is a soulsborne staple. It's handy if you need to farm an enemy for something, so you clear the area, hit the save point, and repeat. Adds some strategy so you don't rely on save scumming. I can hit the bonfire and refill my estus shards (healing), but I just spent a lot of time clearing an area, so maybe I don't save and take my chances, hoping there's not a real tough group of enemies ahead of me.
