Jedi: Fallen Order is a bit of a mess

I have had numerous glitches while playing this game, most notably a black screen when I was trying to fly to Kashyyk where I would have to restart every time until I found a work around (had this insane fix that worked), and the map system and map is just incredibly convoluted and a slog to travel across.
The fighting is “ok”. I find that the parry system is really hit or miss, especially against any purge soldier or lightsaber user.
The story and world are good so far.
The mentor Jedi looks like she has proptosis and is somewhat annoying.
The main character is ok, a little bland.
The Second Sister is the best character in the game so far. Really intriguing backstory. Would much rather play as her.
Overall, probably worth the sale price of $35.
Oh, and the ponchos look stupid.
I don’t wear any of them.

I enjoyed it for the most part but yea it definitely has the worst map of any game I’ve ever played.

It is why I can’t play for extended periods of time.
Every section requires climbing.
Why can’t I just run up some stairs to the door?
No wonder stormtroopers can’t shoot for shite. They are too tired from all the climbing to get from one room to the next.

I loved this game outside a few of the jumping parts. Like that part you were sliding and had to make jumps. I almost quit and never went back I struggled with that part so much.

When I saw we could travel from planet to planet I was expecting it to basically be KOTOR 3 :(

People have done God's work and put all the cut scenes together on YouTube. Go watch the best star wars movie since rogue one

I wish the game had items that actually mattered.
I will not wear a poncho. They look dumb.
The lightsaber parts are sort of cool, but don’t add anything.
Pretty much all the collectibles are useless.

I enjoyed the combat a lot, but it was my first experience with the Sekiro-style combat.
It has its flaws for sure, but it was a really fun play to me once they fixed the fps issue on pc. The PC version had HORRIBLE fps drops that made the game unplayable for a while. Kashyyk was a nightmare for it. I'd go from 60fps to 2 for 10 seconds, then back to 60 for a minute, them a complete freeze for 10 seconds, etc. It was awful and made me not play for a while.

This. I was pleasantly surprised at the stories’ quality - and that Vader cameo is amazing.
