Do you install them?
If so, what is the benefit of installing it, over using game disk?
I heard skyrim is a lot less choppier and you will have a lot less times where the game freezes if installed on hd. ?

You still have to have the disc in the tray. Only benefit I can think of is it shortens load times.

Reduces wear and tear on disk and disk drive as well. I make it a point to install games, I like it when my 360 doesn't make a ridiculous amount of noise while I'm playing.

Which really makes no sense. If i can buy a game online and play it from my hd with no disk i should be able to do so with games ive installed from disk.
Ikk tell you what id like. Id like to be able to save my games to a network drive and ne able to access them from my xbox via wifi. I have two xboxes in my house and games are always being shuffled back and forth. Would be cool if tha wasnt neccesary.

Load time can be shorter. I install b/c the disk will stop spinning after a few minutes. A drive only has a finite number of spins in it.

It actually makes plenty of sense. Say you dont have a game but your friend does, all you'd have to do then is get his copy and download it to your xbox and never have to buy the game (I would call that piracy). There would be LOTS of money lost for game companies if you could download them to your xbox and not have to have the disc to play them

Exactly. Prevents you and a bunch of friends pitching in a few bucks, buying a brand new game, and all taking turns downloading it

I downloaded black ops bc my disc started to crack.

My daughter knocked my 360 down, killed my MW2. Borrowed a buddies, downloaded it to HD, and used my game to play. All of my games are downloaded to the HD, now.

Yeah I think it's good for when your disc starts to get scratched up.

The only disadvantage is that for some games the graphics are as good, but I don't really think its noticeable.

and what's to stop me from adding my profile to a friend's xbox360 and then redownloading games that I've purchased then he has them to?
I don't know if that will work or not, but I see no reason why it wouldn't.

The games can only be assigned to one console. So once you go back to your xbox and try to play them, you'll get that message. Or I'm not even sure you can even do that in the first place. Point is, if it's a downloaded game, it won't play on 2 different systems.

The fact that only one of you can play at any given time.

oh really? hmmm I'm not saying you're wrong, but that makes no sense. If I own 2 Xboxes I should be allowed 2 licenses of a game I purchased.
