I find myself sitting in front of my sons PC more and more and less on my X and PS5..

I honestly think I am about to just build a PC for myself, keep my series 2 controller and just play on a PC ..

I really enjoy PC over console sometimes. I would play mine more if I didn’t have to spend hours every month updating and troubleshooting hardware/software/games/drivers

Fired up Fortnite on it the other day to play with my son and spent at least 2 hours trying to figure out a pretty bad blur effect I was getting when moving the mouse. Still not sure what I even did that fixed it…

Idk if the plug and play convenience factor of console gaming will ever falter for me.

the biggest drawback to the consoles these days the games which are exclusive to them will be on pc sooner or later (bloodborne excluded) and the ROI on a console vs PC just isn't there at this point imo

ive always been a pc player and console player.

id say right now its 60-70% PC 30-40 console.

its just a good time for a pc player. You will get more bang for your buck, better specs, and most "console" games find their way to pc these days, and some pretty quickly if not day of.

frick that. M&K are for the sweats. Controllers are for console converts.

As to OP's point, I turn my PS5 on to do updates "in case" i want to play something. At this point, I have no idea why I still have it. Maybe for Division 2 as I am not starting over on PC.

20 years of exclusives that are now hitting PC same day and sometimes PC being the exclusive, is really drawing me in

I just built a new PC and still have the majority of my old tower if you'd be interested. All you would need is a GPU which is literally the easiest thing to install.

9900K CPU
1000W EVGA Gold PSU
32GB RAM
1TB SSD

Completely depends on the game.

I mostly prefer sitting on the sofa and gaming on the home theater.

But if I want to play an MMO, RTS, City Builder, or FPS I will swap to the PC.

PC is really the way to go this gen due to how disappointing it has been with the consoles. Sony is bringing a lot of their games to PC as well this gen. I really wish Sony would release a USB dongle for the Dualsense controller like Microsoft does for the Xbox controller.
