For the old fckkers like me (I'm 40), did this teaser make you way too emotional?

I was born in 1986. Zelda was everything and OoT was the high point. (Even though MM is my favorite Zelda title)

So did the prospect of a proper full HD remake of OoT get to anyone else?

Or am I just pathetic like I already knew? I lift, BJJ and have amazing cardio.

Never played one minute of any Zelda. I went from C64-C128-PC. I have never owned a console.

A friend's dad had a C64 (I think) with a tape drive. I had experience with an A2600 prior to that, and then I went to a Tandy 1000TX. The power of an upgradeable 512k of RAM! The two Xboxes I've owned had probably a combined playtime of less than what I spent playing Civ III on PC. I'm a keyboard/mouse dude.

Zelda, MegaMan, and Ninja Gaiden basically taught me to hate games on consoles, and I played a lot in arcades in the 80s (not that I was any good.)

My brother had an Atari 5200. About 20 years ago, I spent about 5 hours trying to figure out how to hook it up to a modern TV. Finally figured it out and the controllers didn't work

Never played this one back in the day. I never had a Nin64.

I don't have a Switch 2 either...

We're thinking about getting a new system, but I think that's gonna be a PS5 Pro.

All we have right now is my gaming PC, a Switch, a PS3 and a PS4.

These systems cost too dang much these days...

My Zelda experience is, sadly, limited to the first two. I got away from console gaming with some rare exceptions and regret missing out. With the remakes coming out it might be time to give these games a try.

I’m gonna get it. I had so much fun with it back in the day. I still have my 64 in my garage. Have OOT and MM as well. mM is the gold cartridge….

If 40 is an old fckker, then I'm ancient. Probably makes sense why I don't care about Zelda at all.

Like I said, I'm probably up there too. First console system I had was a Magnavox Odyssey (1972). You taped the plastic overlay onto the TV for the "graphics" while controlling the dots on the TV behind the overlay. I've never met anyone else who had one, although I know they have to be out there somewhere.
