Pretty graphically impressive if you ask me.
Look closely at the high resolution of the characters, the way the smoke coming off cigarettes is pretty realistically modeled, the shadows and lighting.
I'm not a fan of the way R* is handling the marketing, digital only release, and tiered games, but the graphics look to be pretty incredible.

I'm not saying I 100% agree it's R* but there is certainly a possibility.
The downside to that theory to me is we are still a ways away from the release, at this pace a lot of the game will get leaked if it continues at this rate.

Bruh they literally hired someone specifically for jiggle physics and brought in dancers to the studio to do motion capture work just for the strip clubs.

I am still leaning towards getting it at some point, fwiw. My only real complaint is the skeevy monetization shite. . .and that it was written by the GTA Online guys, so you can expect inoffensive HR-approved dialogue and storylines.
Nobody that made characters like Trevor are writing for this game

Implying Take Two isn't the one issuing and pump/dumping the crytpo . The leaks have to be tied to Rockstar in some capacity, which is why nothing has been spoiled in terms of story/gameplay. These "leaks" are nothing more than creative viral marketing

I also dont really know where "many" are sitting kn the game when by and large, at least on the gta reddit community and gta centric youtube channels that ive seen/follow, the reception seems to be pretty positive based on the graphics, the depth of the strip club, the fighting mechanics, and the size of the map

Right. So far it just looks like a graphically superior GTA V. That's not worth paying a premium, especially when you don't even get a disc you can resell later.
