Considering they will milk it for the next 10 years once it is released, may as well have it working correctly when it comes out rather than have a Cyberpunk style glitchy mess.

It sucks they got lazy though, but it is the gamers fault. They have been printing money with GTA V and had no financial reason to move on. They gave us the gaming masterpiece of RDR 2, and yet everyone returned to GTA V online. The gaming world needed to let it die, but we refused
Is this a testament to how amazing GTA is or the lack of a true competitor to GTA?

Couldn't tell you. I've never liked GTA Online and don't get the appeal.

This is how I look at it. They were able to maintain cash flow during development of VI.
I'm okay with the delay, but that's partly because I'm a 40 year old dad that works full-time. I still love playing games, but it's such a small part of life these days that I don't care about release dates. I get around to games when I have the time. Plus, I'm master race, so I never expected GTA anytime soon on PC.

There's nowhere else to do RP on a modded game anything close to GTA or RDR2. Cfx will have 200k concurrent players friday-sun. your only other options are playing with a bunch of furries in the ARK community, on a laggy mess with ScumRP, or Dayz where every single persons RP "back story" is para military badass chad.

Count me in this group. I wouldnt be surprised if it didnt come until 2027 to essentially be a dual launch on the ps5/ps6, and other similar platforms.
