So, I haven't played the following:

RDR2 (I own it on PS5, just never started it, no idea why, I loved RDR)

Last of Us (willing to buy on PC)

The Witcher 3 (I own it on PC)

Which should I start?

Witcher 3 bruh. Best game ever made

I was a legit recluse summer of 2015 because of Witcher 3. It was just work and Witcher, didn’t drink for 4 months

This is why I've hesitated. It seems like it could take a long time to complete.

I just need to break down and get Witcher 3. But I have Elden Ring and AC Valhalla downloaded but haven't played them yet and I'd like to play Diablo IV as well.

Wish I could go back to 2004 and start up vanilla WoW again. Every level seemed like an achievement. Saying "ding" in the guild chat and everyone congratulating you. Going in that first dungeon RFC and then spending a lot of time in the deadlines. Seeing a horde attack for the first time. Getting in that first raid against Onyxia. Those were some of my best memories in gaming and I made life long friends that I still talk to.

The only game that got me close to that again was Destiny

Ton of great mods for W3 if you're into modding.

I've flirted with modding, like making Laura Croft naked, but thats about it.

Bioshock - the big reveal about your benefactor's real identity and his mean's of directing your efforts. Still enjoy a playthrough every now and then, but you only get to experience that reveal once.

Armored Core 1 - was fun to try and fail until you learned all the quirks and best equipment and mission strategies.

The second one goes for a lot of the great games played. First playthroughs have a bit of magic, if you will, because you don't know what's going on. FF7, FFIX, RE1, RE2, LoK:SR, BoF3, Medevil, Onimusha: Warlords, Borderlands 2, Diablo, Diablo II, Darkest Dungeon, Nobunaga's Ambition:Iron Triangle were the most memorable for me. The figuring it out is the best part.

Planetside.

Running with my outfit and running every night as if were doing real military ops.

Nothing has ever really come close for me.

You can't even really explain it to someone that hasn't played it. You really had to experience the scale of it.
