Wow that was a fun game, never played a pirate game before.
The Legendary ships are still wrecking me though.
What is the Gaming Board rank of Black Flag compared to other AC games? This is my first Assassin Creed game to play.

It's my favorite AC. I like the ship battles, especially the legendaries.
I wish they would convert this game into a sequel to Sid Meyer's Pirates.

Really good game. Great balance of open water and land adventures.
The fleet feature was really cool.
I need to go back and get 100% on that game.

Yeah. I am done with the story, but only at like 51% complete.

Game was beautiful and I loved the setting. Didn't care too much about sailing from place to place

There is so much legend and mysticism involved with the Caribbean, I really wish there comes another game similar to this one.
Huge potential for a co-op open world online game. Imagine, a naval battle where you didn't have to steer and try to fire/aim cannons at the same time.

Its the best AC game. They should do a direct sequel to this like they did for the Ezio games.

It's great. It's probably neck and neck for the best AC game with Brotherhood, IMO.
For those saying they wish there was a sequel, you realize there is, right?
Not quite as good, but still fun

The game was hit or miss with a lot of people I know, not because any of them thought it was a bad game, but it hinged on if you enjoyed the ship aspects.
I know some that just didn't enjoy that part of the game, so they didn't enjoy the game a lot. On the other hand, I thought it was fantastic and loved the sailing and upgrading my ship to badass status. As far as the setting was concerned, by far my favorite of any of the AC games. It used the outdoor/tree running from 3 and improved on everything else. Very fun game.

easily my favorite Assassin's Creed. The legendary ships are difficult. There is an iphone app you can use to help perform trade route missions. It helps you collect money and materials much faster so that you can upgrade the ship quicker.
You need just about a maxed out ship to compete with the legendary ships.

While you can 100% the single player you can't platinum without multiplayer trophies/achievements. It's ridiculous because there was never good online support.

I dont go for 100% achievements, I meant 100% single game completion.

Game was great when it focused on pirate stuff
when the Assassins Creed overarching, convoluted as all hell plot got involved it lowered the quality of the story late in the game
still a beautiful and fun adventure though

I think Edward is the best protagonist in the series.

I think Rogue was just as good or maybe even better than 4. It's on an older system which hurts it a little in terms of graphics.
The story was better in my opinion. I also liked the variety of climates with snow added in some regions.
Nothing will top the Ezio games for me because of the story. But 4 and Rogue were the most fun in terms of actual gameplay.
The only one I didn't really love (not counting the first which I consider more of a test of a new concept and system) was III.

I need to go back and finish this. I got about halfway through and then Destiny came out so I switched gears and haven't played since.

Rogue looks like a PSVITA game. Go back and play AC3 then look at Rogue.
New York also looks like a shanty town as they just re-used a lot of Black Flag assets
Great game but the graphics always bugged me.

Loved Black Flag. Legendary ships require you to have a near maxed out ship and to actually be good at the game's naval warfare. I took one out where we were both down to our last hit, luckily I fired a second before he did. Only feature I didn't like was the underwater stuff where you get attacked by sharks. One I hate sharks and two it's basically impossible to have them not notice you. Favorite one next to the Ezio collection.

The sea battles were the best part of any AC I ever played.
